Geoffrey Touton They’re still a band, and they’re still active, according to numerous sites and sources. There’s an interview with John Merryman, longtime drummer, who confirms he’s still in the band, and they were at that point STILL working on the new album. You want my real two cents? Think long and hard on what I say, then read the lyrics, and think about what I said again. In my opinion, Cephalic got slapped with a ten year “no creative works” order. A creative cease and desist, if you will. I feel like they dropped so many truth-bombs on that album, talking about drug use, holographic reality, Jesus’ reincarnation and what it means, Abraxas/Cthulhu, UFOs, and the finer details of equestrianism.

Hey Nick, i've been working on this song for a lot of time and i believe i've figured it almost all out, and after months of practice i can finally play the whole thing in a non-insulting way. However i can't for the life of me figure out one thing in the opening arpeggio, that is if when you go on the lower octave (12fret of E) you pluck the four notes going down first (as in proper slapping) or if using the thumb as a pick like in the verse, so going up first.
