They will do everything they can to not pay you I suggest put money in a interest savings account then you have money

Home owners' insurance does not cover damage from "acts of God" events unless you have a rider that costs lots and covers little. Better to anchor your home to the foundation, secure anything that may fall, remove/trim risky trees.

Actually, it depends on where you live. There are many safe zones here, but you have to do your homework.

I've never heard of anything like that. The insurance is fraudulent. How can you take a policy with them and then they tell you until the money runs out for coverage. Contact your Senator for an investigation...
