Yeah feels like we haven't got any simple good comedy films like this in a while
The 2000s and early 2010s had sooo many crazy good comedies and feel good movies and those have been missing for a while this reminds me of like an old will Ferrell movie or wedding crashers or movies like that

It’s on Netflix so I decided to watch it cuz it was like 2AM at night and I couldn’t fall asleep and I had nothing to do the next day anyways. It was a pretty good movie ngl. I definitely enjoyed it. The only movies I saw of Jennifer Lawrence’s were the hunger games and the x men movies. So I was a bit surprised with how good she did in a comedy.

Unless things are different in NY State, I don't think that the "authorities" can abscond with your property, cars, boats, furniture, etc. other than putting your real estate property up for auction, to pay for back taxes. Correct me if I'm wrong. Otherwise, it's a good start to a good movie.

The fantasy of anticipation of imminent sex with a beautiful woman is that hook at the beginning of the movie. Dirty mouthed scripts for the desensitized voyeur raised an eyebrow. I think they could have built up the tension and subtext of the son knowing and them trying to pretend she was legit even greater than it was. This had potential to be something else but it was this. I suppose the pacing worked. I enjoyed it for what was I suppose but I wanted something I knew it wouldn't be. I miss some things about being younger. I'm at least 10 years older than J Law. 30's is still pretty young but not tragically naive. The video stores closed down and I never paid for a movie again. That's how the future played out.

5:50…I guess enough time has passed now that they can joke about it? Don’t let this happen in other parts of the world. The same process is happening right now in another part of the world. A group can’t lead with total selfishness and aggression and then become comfortable enough to joke about it once they’ve gotten what they want. Do not let it happen.
