IZZY When i put blocks in those heavy duty lintels we jack them up with acrows to take the weight then only put enough bed on the lintel for a block then push block tightly to back where there's no compo then slide up towards other block it stops the build up of compo behind the block doing it that way

@@waffle9827you’re so right about that sir, I worked in the USA with a kid who was top of his class at RPI ( which is a top engineering school here in woke USA) and I couldn’t believe how dumb he was and I really explained the simple things ( relative to what Izzy is doing) and he didn’t get it or didn’t care So even college engineering at the highest level ( in woke USA) might be meaningless even performing simple things

There SHOULD be a LARGE air space gap in-between the face of the insulation and the OUTER WALL inside the cavity ; this includes an air space gap in-between the face of the insulation and the cavity-wall-tie drip point which is in the centre of the cavity. Ask N.V.Q. BRICKWORK teachers for PROOF of this !
