Moxley himself is a good wrestler he just has unmemorable matches. Like almost all his title defenses were against wrestlers who aren’t established and just there to add another win under his belt.

My hot take: Chris Jericho is having the worst run of his career in aew. Majority of his feuds suck, his matches are no longer memorable, and he constantly goes over when he shouldn't. His Eddie Kingston feud sealed the deal for me. I'm tired of him and his stupid sports entertainment faction.

I think Mox is fine, but they just need to use him differently. Eddie Kingston is a better “heart and soul” of the company, and like half the company has more interesting matches than him.

This may be a hot take, may be a lukewarm take idk. Dijakovic could easily be an upper midcarder, maybe even a main eventer, if presented like he was in NXT. Just get rid of the TBAR character, repackage him back to how he used to be, and let him do his thing.

I think moxley used to be a good wrestler , and still has the ability to be one and have good matches consistently but the problem is he is too reckless in some sense and thinks that more crazy things = better match , if he stops with the blading , going outside the ring every 3 seconds and deathmatches and leave them for big grudge matches only ( and stops fighting ppl who masturbate in the ring ) I think he can still have good extremely physical fights

AJ styles vs EDGE wasn't that good bc they had the wrong roles it would have been better if edge was face and AJ was HEEL that's how we pictured it

Mox is not a wrestler in the traditional sense, wrestling has evolved over the years, you don't have to lock up or be a grappling pro to be a wrestler, Mox is a self admitted brawler, he's at his best outside the rules and ring, look at him vs Suzuki, that's Moxley at his best & happiest, who can hit hardest, and you can tell when he's actually trying, cuz he dresses down, and puts on the tights and kneepads, that's how it was in CZW and how it was in NJPW, and he continues to have that tendency from time to time, although it's getting more and more rare.

I was a huge Dean Ambrose fan, I only watched few clips of Moxley's first year in AEW. After his return I have seen lot more of his work and it has looked really repetitive. Only improvement I found was his moveset compared from wwe days. He punches the air most of the time, his elbow strikes look horrible too as well his knee strikes are awful. All his matches have blood and the worst aspect is he gets caught blading in front of the camera quite often. Atleast he should make an effort to hide it better. I am only talking about his in ring work.

I believe that MOX is a very good wrestler. Most of today's wrestling fans want to see high flying breaking your neck action. Well Jon won't give you that. What he will give you is a hard hitting, grit and determination type of match that most fans will respect. Also pro wrestling is not about moves in the ring but how the fans interact with a character. He is bare bones working class guy that wear his heart on his sleeve and gives 0 f%@ks what you think. I do believe that the blood takes away from the certain matches. I give detractors that but it's a part of his character makeup especially coming from CZW. All in all Mox has been making the rounds, in and out of AEW, and has been the glue that Khan needs especially in times like these.
I've said this for a while not all but. Majority of the talent that leaves WWE and goes to AEW does not wrestle as good as they did in WWE

Mox year has been great if look in retropesct he had bangers with wheeler yuta, biff (on gcw) , Takeshita, Rush, Bryan Danielson and participated of anarchy in the arena that is my match of the year so far. His run for the aew was kinda weird thoght.

The TV-14 rating would be a great start to making sure shows like raw and smackdown and even NXT good again.
Some could argue it won't, and that creative is what needs fixing.
And while part of that is true, the PG rating is still a problem.
Having it go back to TV-14 with good creative control would help professional wrestlers
that didn't have too much character, improve and have them develop their character in bigger and better ways.

I think Adam Cole is just not good enough for a "big league". I mean, he was excellent in NXT and I was a big fan of him and the rest of UE, but when he left and joined AEW he did exactly the same what he did in NXT, but among this big stars like Danielson, Punk, Mox, Jericho and Omega, he's just perceived as a mid carder and then looking back at his days in NXT, I realised that he was a big star cuz there's no one who can be bigger, yeah, NXT had Ciampa and Gargano, but they're not as big as Danielson and Mox just the name of few. Adam Cole failed as a top star in AEW not because booking is bad, but because Adam Cole is just not good enough, the same would happen if Adam Cole joined the main roster.
fans will lose their shit if you say it, but he doesnt have the look of a star. yeah danielson is short too, but hes stocky and can come off as someone that can beat your ass. cole is short and skinny as hell and fuck me if ive never really seen what all the hype is about him
