I was a fan of Ambrose and even a fan of Moxley (due to finding his run in New Japan pretty damn enjoyable, especially with the Shooter stuff). Looking at a lot of wrestlers on the independent scene right now, I can see why WWE went back to scouting college athletes for talent instead of indies.

lesnar had a ufc main event match a few months after as well so him deciding to just do a normal match to keep himself uninjured was perfectly reasonable
I used to really like Moxley. I was fully behind him when he left WWE and was excited when he showed up in AEW. I'm still proud of him for getting the help he needed for his alcoholism, but goddamn... dude has fallen so much.

I was a fan of Ambrose and even a fan of Moxley (due to finding his run in New Japan pretty damn enjoyable, especially with the Shooter stuff). As an HVACR/plumber/pipefitter welder, sheet metal worker who can do some electrical as required and has seen numerous 500k to 750k sq ft buildings from start to finish. I liked Ambrose a lot during his WWE run but I knew even then he didn't have the star quality that Roman and Seth had. Is it a surprise why those two are riding high on great work right now while Mox has reached new levels of low?
