This is doomed. The publisher (EA) and the developer (Bioware) are going to be a poisonous influence on the production. Amazon producing it is going to be a massive red flag, since they force diversity hires regardless of having or lacking ability, meaning the writing is going to be led by sub-part writers who are cheaper to employ. When you add to this that the mass effect IP is currently in an awkward position (andromeda was not a success, mass effect 3 was VERY divisive), Add to that that most current adaptations of games or other media at the moment are not really working well with audiences, I just don't see this being a success on any level.
If this is LGBTQA+327 then they can shove it! Just make normal games without stupid agendas. The original series were AWESOME! Great games with a great story, what gamers want. I don’t need to see scars where my man bits were or rainbow heart stickers on my uniform damn it!!!!

I have zero faith in this coming out well. Amazon has a terrible track record and live acation video game adaptations have not gone well recently.
The Fallout TV show was good
With DEI limiting creativity, I don't have high hopes for this series.
