Lego Rock Raiders was an amazing PC game for it's time. It was children's level RTS game with resource management as well as cognitive tactics building for progression through the levels. I played this game when I was a child. Finished it one day and that was it. Recently in my life I came back to it our of curiosity. And well the mods out there for this game do not disappoint. They had made a few years ago "The Axel mod v1.5" that significantly changes the entire game from being a mere children's game, to an actual hardcore RTS game with pretty insane additional spacing to the level's more caverns, updated textures, boosts and compatibility upgrades to the coding. The miners have been updated logically- so gone are the days when you had to wait for your RR to go back to base and eat a sandwich. They've fixed problems like the speed setting glitch, while opening up new cans of worms like the dreaded Tunnel transport glitch. RIP Eric Reeves.
I just checked my moms basement and found at least 8 different comics. It seems that I did have quite a bit of RR sets too.

Is this guy RR Slugger now ?
Unfortunately, no. Eric Reeves sadly passed away last year. 😔
Oh Sorry if you knew him. I thought about this because of the shared hobby and I thought there was some similarity in your voices@@RRSlugger
High adventure? Deep underground?
So many followers of Rock Raiders? I've got some RR stuff, some NIB, I can't seem to sell for less than the best prices on Bricklink...
Rock Raiders deserve a hollywood-grade non-Lego adaptation xd
