Honestly. This is hands down the best looking lexus ever made. It looks so put together, and every line and crease feels purposeful for its look. I like this design even more than the LC500.
@@lakay99 i’ve seen lc500. I just like the new look is 2021 a lot more. It looks aggressive and sporting, where the lc500 looks like a beauty for smooth curves. I personally prefer, angular, sporty aggressive looking cars over sleek beautiful curvy cars.
Im getting 16mpg on my 2021 Lexus IS 350 F Sport RWD, because i just got the car, and do a lot of crazy stuff lol. Good to know i have a chance to do 29mpg.
Sharp looking car. Though I wish they'd offer a new IS SportCross model. Also, preferred the older model's Rioja Red to this new model's bright crayola red.
Lexus did a good job with this sedan. I’ve always taught that BMW and Mercedes cars have looked the same for the last 20 years. Lexus has that bold, sharp, luxurious design that just stands out. I’ve always been a Toyota/Lexus fan, I own a Toyota myself and hope to one day upgrade to a Lexus.
@@videogazer801 funny thing is my car isn’t broken at all this is my third is 350. A 2014, 2016 and now my 2019 with 16k mikes all average 15 mpg. Terrible cars for gas. You probably live somewhere where not any hills or mountains are at. Needless to say these cars suck on gas. I had a 2011 Volvo s60 t6 AWD and it got 18-19 in the city and like 24 hwy. so stop the cap bro.
@@garrybussell I live on flat roads, no mountains or hills, but all stop and go city miles = 17.8 mpg. Premium gas is expensive and hell, so I am light on the pedal.
I don’t know why people keep using the fish-eye lense on these new release cars it just distorts the true shape and lines which I personally would like to see and I’m sure I’m not the only one.
How is this even accurate? Unless you put it in cruise control it won’t ever touch 30 not even 25 even. I have 2019 350 awd and I’m getting 16.8 and I drive like a normal person. A mix of normal and eco mode. This car is terrible on gas and it’s my second one
Very funny thing is, my 2006 GS430 RWD used to get 30 MPG cruising 80 on the highway. That 3UZ engine is derived from 1UZ that was developed in 90s. So 30 MPG for essentially a 2GR FKS from 2016ish is lame to say the least. Even considering it is AWD, it shows how good the old 3UZ was.
I want to see what the RWD model with the Dynamic Handling Package gets for MPG. I’m between that and the 2021 Supra 3.0 for a daily commuter car. I fit better in the Lexus (I’m 6’9) but the Supra is obviously more fun and gets 35mpg real world.
what did you end up getting? i had a supra and now i'm in an IS350 lol. speed, handling, and mpg were top tier in the supra. also very very comfortable for a sports car. but limited space and lack of rear seats made the lexus my pick for a long term daily. just wish the mpg was better. people tend to get about 24 or 25 mpg mixed, without any sporty driving. i could get that in the supra with sport mode on half the time.
@@steinway325 I got the IS350 RWD with dynamic handling package. It’s nice I think I may do the Supra next with manual even though I’m very tall for it.
@@JonathanGurgul the cockpit will fit a tall person fine. there is a lot of legroom and surprising amount of headroom (designed to accommodate a helmet). but as a daily driver, there are two problems you will have to accept and live with, in order to make the car work: 1) the headliner comes out pretty far forward, so you are looking out through a windshield that is not very tall. you'll have to avoid getting too close to traffic lights bc you can no longer see them above when you get too close. 2) be careful not to hit your head getting in. the sides of the car frame come down pretty low, so a taller person will really have to tilt their neck a bit to get into the car these issues are made even worse if you have a proportionally long torso, compared to your legs. however, if you are the opposite, shorter torso and long legs, you will have no issue other than the lowness of the car itself. otherwise the car was amazing. so comfortable for such a capable car. would have loved to keep it as a second car. but i decided to just get one AWD solution and give up the awesome performance for long term reliability
I have this motor and transmission in my 2016 IS 350 f sport. There is no way I can get anything close to even 400 miles to the tank. Even when I try my best and drive like an old man for the week and get no traffic on my 20 mile journey to work, the best I have ever gotten was 320 miles. On a road trip and cruisng at around 75 to 80, the best was 380. It os horrible on gas, if I drive "normal".
@@garrybussell yep. It's horrible on gas compared to other cars in the segment. My wife started working from home permanently. So I gave her the car and bought a 2010 GS 350 as my daily now. Listen, it gives better mileage than my 2016 with the same motor. Only difference is the GS is a 6 speed transmission vs the 8 speed in the IS. I get 300-320 to the tank weekly. It is better than the IS PERIOD! For MPG that is. The 8 speed is not better than the 6 speed.
be honest high way cruising doesn't means anything with fuel economy. most modern cars can get decent fuel economy on the freeway. The true gas/fuel costs are in the city, and not everybody is able to drive on the free-way all day.
Right this is a waste of time probably super similar to the last one anyway. The only test we want to know is the 2021 redesigned and enhanced handling. All else is the same.
My best on a 55km highway drive to work was just under 31mpg. You need to know how to modulate the drive by wire throttle so you’re getting the most optimal economy
I have a 2014 F-sport as well and Mine reads 2 MPH higher then GPS as well. There is something going on... ITs accurate till 50 mph or so then it changes slowly to 2mph differnce. 2ndly the MPG will show higher if Speedo shows higher and computer calculates a bit higher over all due to that reason.
Question, the awd has a transmission transfer case hump right behind the gas pedal. During your drive was that protruding himpnat all noticeable? Did you have to reposition yourself a certain way to get around it?
Honestly. This is hands down the best looking lexus ever made. It looks so put together, and every line and crease feels purposeful for its look. I like this design even more than the LC500.
Not sure which LC500 you meant or you may have driven. But this is no where near LC500 - I mean, looks, interior and performance. I have driven both.

yeah i agree 100% i havent see a better looking car ever. The LC has smoother lines and all but the shaper angular lines look so much better
As far as their sedans go, yes this is the best looking one.

I wish lexus made a wagon they used fo have an is wagon

IS350 look great and love the interior 😎👍
Too much plastic pieces. Looks cheap. Lexus definitely cheaper out. 60k and only 311hp? 280tq? That’s lame. Get a Q60 RS. Way better.
This is one of the best looking cars ok the market rn. If they had put on some nice looking wheels, it would’ve been a home run.
it does have nice looking wheels
so the 2021 IS is basically the IS that they should’ve made back in 2014? that’s what i think
Is the car noisy? The video felt abit noisy while it was cruising down the freeway
You should’ve let us know how it cost to fill it up
Im not upgrading maybe if the isf or is500 have the v8 or ttv6
I got a 2021 Lexus is350 Awd I’m getting 14.4mpg according to the tripometer
Fuck. That's awful!
