Anything that expands the darker parts of the Star Wars galaxy and makes me feel like I could be there can only be a good thing. All for it :D You can tell a much better story through a game than a short show, and be part of it.

Only problem now are the abusive prices Ubisoft is asking for the game versions.
$200 NZ for the version with all the cosmetics (~$120 US). For that kind of price, you used to get physical rewards like special game cases and statues...
Personally, the game is getting me hyped. Only issue is Ubuisoft... But at this point the price isn't the issue for me, I just want a good game
Ubisoft being behind this is probably going to make me pass on the game. Besides the outrageous pricing, there's a lot of ridiculous shady stuff going on with that company.

In concept, this could be one of the best Star Wars games ever. Execution is the key here.
At this point I would settle for a decent Star Wars game much less the best.
I don't know I didn't find it epic at all...the trailer for eclipse was extremely badass, plus (and that's personal ) i find the protagonist a bit annoying already, maybe and hopefully they will prove me wrong

Plus and really important , i want to remind you that the creator of this game is Ubisoft which in the recent years they just failed and failed one game after another , and disney also being extremely woke...i don't have great expectation , if you are woke i am pretty sure you will love it.

@@stefanopinto7386 I don't know what woke is, it sounds silly, but the game has 3 features that I like, open world, stealth and ship piloting, That's all I need, if you focus so much on ONE character and cling to past expectations then you must be a very bitter person.

I've played a reprogrammed BX Commando Droid that's a gentleman hunter called Mr. BXby so this one in the trench coats might immediately be my favorite Droid design ever.

Just a little note here, this being made by the same dev team as The Division and the new Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
As someone who's overly into the former and yet to try the latter, people should be VERY excited for Outlaws. If there's one thing Massive Entertainment does well, it's physical world design and atmosphere.
This is also close to or during the time line that SotE would have been in. WOuld be amazing to see Dash or Xizor in this

Alright, I'm excited.
Looks good enough. But i nevertheless only allow myself to be at most cautiously exited about this game, mostly because i've played so many AC-games, i've gotten tired of the Ubisoft-Open-World-formula and i fear that this game might fall into the same pitfalls they have become notorious for over the years. But we'll see.
And i also hope that this "bigger thing Kay Vess is caught up on" is not the Rebellion. Don't get me wrong, it's SW, the Rebels are the heroes and cool and all that, but playing an actual outlaw - and only an outlaw - for a change would be nice.

If you're talking about at the start, I'm not sure that's Qi'ra. Definitely a female representative for Crimson Dawn but that doesn't have to be Qi'ra and in my opinion doesn't really look like her.
As interesting as this may look, Ubisoft is making it and will probably be a pass for me. Too much bad stuff going on with that company at the moment.

It seems that you can make multiple choices in the game when it comes to story decisions, i wonder if theres just one canon ending and multiple non canon endings like in GTA5 story mode.
The devs said a little while ago that there is only one ending.

You guys should probably catch up with War of the Bounty Hunters and Crimson Reign before playing this. But that might be too much.
7:30 No Man’s Sky has pretty good flight mechanics. While there is a cutscene for landing and taking off, it is more open and free. It would be nice if they took inspiration from that game.

On Canto Bight Poe and Rose were arrested for parking somewhere they weren't allowed. At the same time in Phantom Menace they parked at seemingly a random spot in the desert outside of Mos Espa. Depends on the planet I guess.

He's getting GTA from the fact that your a criminal in an open world game and it's supposed to have a wanted level.
We need a Star Wars game from Rockstar or Avalanche. In Hogwarts Legacy, Avalanche made it so you could only fly around outside of the town, so I don’t see why they can’t do that in a Star Wars game.

*Qi'ra And personally I don't think so. They said they represent the groups and I think Qi'ra is pretty much the head of Crimson Dawn at this point so she'd have other people under her to act as representatives. Also I don't think it really looks like her.
@@nathanielreik6617glad you know who I meant…. You have a point though. We can only assume she became the head at some point. We don’t know what position Maul was in by the time rebels came around and he met his end with Kenobi. And while we can assume Qi’ra was next in line, I’m not sure if that was verified. Plus, video games ya know… these games don’t seem the type to put much effort into matching faces. But you could be right.
As soon as I heard Jaylen's voice I had to google to make sure but so cool that he's voiced by Eric Johnson!
So we got the Hutts, Pykes, Zerek Besh (a fairly new group that made their first appearance in a comic), Crimson Dawn (Qi'ra IS confirmed to play at least some role in this story), and the Ashiga Clan (a brand new syndicate created by Ubisoft with LucasFilm oversight). So glad we are finally getting a game that is diving headfirst into the Star Wars criminal underworld. I'm cautiously optimistic. I loved a lot of what I've seen and heard so far, but this IS Ubisoft. I'm very hesitant to buy into a new game of theirs so quickly (and I say that as a long, long time Ubi fan). However, they have begun to take steps in a better direction following the success of AC: Mirage, and the absolute magnificence that is the new Prince of Persia game (which I'm sure will be in the running for several awards come TGA this year).
It all looks great, and all, but you know what would be even cooler ? Have an open world where you can create your own character (be it human, alien, droid, or even something cybernetic), and start as a basic character, with a basic ship, perhaps ? Then live in this open world, and then develop (and build up) your character with your own look, weapons, other technologies, (like jetpacks, personal shields, armour), ships, speeders, or swoop bikes, and go anywhere you like. Make enough credits in this open world, and find a better ship, or speeder then your current one ? Buy it and sell the old one of (or make a trade, perhaps ?). Or go the route of Han Solo, and upgrade your ship with better weapons, shields, looks, and so on. Maybe you want to have a pet, or companion ? Try and find one that fits your character. Want some droids to keep you company, (or help you out with translating, running, and/or reparing your ship while you're in a fight ? Go ahead, and buy some, if you have the credits). I mean, the possibilities are endless, when you think about it.

Cautiously excited its by Ubisoft, so Hopefully they don't f this up.
Seems like it will be fun gameplay wise but dialogue and story may leave a lot to the imagination sadly

It looks super bland and boring with medicore graphics, Ubisoft have been making awful games for years now, and they're even putting a season pass into this single player game while also forcing you to pay over $100 just to get some DLC and dumb cosmetic stuff. This game is Dead on Arrival. The Star Wars Eclipse trailer is a million times better than whatever this was.

It's a Ubisoft Game. It's only purpose is to sell Microtransactions...
It will be way too big and empty, full of collectables across the map to artificially increase play time, without any real side content and the story is likely to be unsatisfactory and incostistent to established lore.
But the soundtrack will be really good.
Awkward moment of day: wife walks in while video of one-on-two men-massage action playing on screen. Wife makes 180 and leaves without a word.
I really wish I could be excited about this, I love all the underworld stuff they're going into, but at the end of the day it's still ubisoft...

A lot of people are not happy with the main character. Especially since it's supposed to be based off Humberly González, and she is a, shall we say, an unflattering representation of her (although I don't think it's as bad as ppl are making it out to be. Feel like the hair is hurting the image the most but that doesn't really have anything to do with her face per say). But it feeds into a lot of that DEI diversity stink that tends to lead to making bad characters. Honestly, I feel like that's jumping the gun, but to be blunt this trailer kind of throws up more severe red flags AAA games fall for imo.
This game looks like shit tbh and its mad by the biggest scammers in the industry… well besides EA
