    Scott Thompson's face after he says "don't even think about it" is awesome

    it's the obscurity of this sketch that makes me like it so much...sounds like they're going to use that salt for something important, but we'll never know what.

    I love the story Mark is telling in the beginning about his girlfriend throwing vegetarian chili at him and it killing one of his angel fish.

    Imagine if someone did that in real life. If a well dressed guy just came up to some guys in a restaurant, went on a crazy rant for a minute, grabbed their condiments and ran out the door. The people at that table would remember that guy for the rest of their lives.

    • @yellowblanka6058

      They would either turn away/quickly leave, absorb themselves in their phones and pretend not to hear, or instantly start a fight that would spill over into the street.

    • @ZetaReticuli_
      @ZetaReticuli_ 2 роки тому +1

      @@yellowblanka6058 That would depend where you are. Pulling a stunt like that in Nevada...?
      That salt shaker better be VERY important. Because that "security guard" would get himself a good old fashioned smack down, and would be walking funny for the rest of his life.

      Agreed. The sheer absurdity of some of their sketches it what makes them so great. I generally think that comedy is best when it's grounded in some kind of reality. But Kids in the Hall consistently prove the exception to that rule. I think it's also why their comedy is so timeless.

    I like to think the reason I find people so puzzling is that things like this are literally happening all the time.

    I had to look up the location: (roughly speaking) 445 Cherry St, Toronto, Canada. Then I was shocked there's a neighborhood called CABBAGE TOWN?

    • @WinkLinkletter
      @WinkLinkletter 4 роки тому +1

      There is a "Cabbage Town" in Atlanta, Georgia as well. It is an old neighborhood where many of the residents seem more like rural southerners than people living in the middle of a metropolis.

    • @bentonrp
      @bentonrp 26 днів тому

      It's such a weird slang term. If someone uses it to express how angry they are about it,
      it could be vague enough to never define what they mean by it. Especially if they don't clarify.
      The prank in this skit can virtually work anywhere! For more than just a mere salt shaker at that!
