they're just showing you the basics. they'd have to pay a lot more to get into some Express or Abercrombie jean factory for sure

I want that amazing knife, and a machine that moves that fast without skipping a stitch. I'm so envious.

I wonder how many of these older videos are outdated ten, twenty, or even thirty years later?

@LadyArwenFC Yeah and they work with such a precision, really impressive
Precision and safety is key, as an industrial machine will sew a finger or thumb to the fabric in a blink of the eye.

If this clip depicts a US factory, then we may rest assured that meanwhile this proud production line has been relocated to somewhere in Asia or the Caribbean

They shoulda gave a better fucking history lesson, so I will. The word 'denim' comes from the French: 'De Nimes', meaning 'from Nimes', the city where Jeans were first produced. 'Jeans' comes from 'Genoa', the Italian port city where materials were typically imported from.

Maybe because americans can't make stuff with quality because americans is made up of a greedy bunch.
Americans always trying to make a product cheaper and cheaper to make while keeping the price high.
Of course people will go elsewhere with their money.
In other countries they use quality materials but make workers cheaper and cheaper. That do not affect the customers
Children got to eat too you know
In the old days children had to help and work to make food.
    Children are spoiled these days
