This audience was not ready for the shred! Love how they slowly come around but are initially stunned. MMW will never disappoint live.

Man you'd think theyd know that for maximum effect MMW needs at dusk to night in the festival time slot...in 04 I seen them about a month apart, first at Bonnaroo starting at like one pm on Sunday....then all good fest they had it at like 7-8pm start and even though both shows were great, the allgood show was outer space level rocking. Great upload love it I still can't find any footage from MMW shows I've seen(6 times total). I'd pay good for a DVD of the 04 all good because I was dancing mad wild an smoking a hash opium mix with some blueberry moonshine, I've never danced B4 or after at any show, but I went buck full crazy front row that night no Diddy lol I thought my madness an dancing was inspiring the band ..but one would think that with a mind full of chronic an everything else.

lol. this is a great event that draws amazing talent, but too bad it's so pricey that it only draws pasty-white, rich folk that don't seem to care about the music.

@@tpmgx6 yeah the crowds lack of appreciation of the music really shows, I've seen programs on CSPAN with more energy. I've seen a half dozen or so MMW shows around that same time period (late 90's-early 00's) and I remember although music wise being IMO avgerage, they were as far as crowd energy goes, being up there rivaling some of the top shows (out of 200+) that I'd been apart of. From start to finish there wasn't a single soul standing still, and the crowds energy seemed to grow with each song to the point where by the end of the show almost everyone myself included were on verge of collapse from sheer exhaustion.

I lost touch with this group at this particular point. Just saw medeski with john zorns simulacrum a few weeks ago. So good. It was great. Brought me back to his work.

Harder for the camera to catch his full motion groove if setup in front?

People are made of stone here I guess.
I can't stand crowds in America, they don't know have a good time. Get loose, let your hair down, go barefoot and Dance like know ones watching.
    Freak out!

@@ndzick718 I am a huge medeski fan, perhaps my favorite band, but the Op is right, they are pretty white. if these were black or indian or hispanic guys it would probably sound different, not better, just different. But it definitely has a european/white flavor to it, good or bad. nothing racist about it, unless you think saying black dudes usually have big dicks is racist. Then you are just an SJW twat
