Cracking stuff Keith! So pleased you finally got some shots & footage of the Shorties mate! I'm fairly certain of both of the locations (definitely the second one), and so far I have only had very distant views of the shorties - but excellent views of the barnies.
Beggars can't be choosers eh?

At the location you filmed these shots me and a colleague visited here last year when we heard of the first sightings of the short Eared owl and we were very lucky to get some amazing shots and a parking space. Your new lens is proving its worth. Amazing captures 👍

Hi Keith that turned out well in the end didn't it I'm so glad you found and got some great images of the short Eared Owl and Barney to, the Kestrel was a nice bonus. Its going to be months before I get out as just had surgery with a 6 to 8 week recovery then a second surgery as soon as I get over the first one with onother 4 to 6 week recovery so I'm probably looking at late May early June but at least I will have good old you tube to keep me entertained.
