Thank you for sharing! I'm 61 with a bad knee needing surgery, but have 4 steps on the front porch. So this gives me an affordable way, idea, to make one myself or get help making one. Thank Y'all so much! God bless Ya's!
Love it! I'm taking care of my mom (85) and my son (18) LOVES his gram. Portable wc ramps are crazy expensive. I think Ill make something like this folding (I'm pretty handy) so I can get her into the camper for travel. Thanks you!
Right on! I love this. My beloved Great Dane is getting older and is now refusing to go up or down steps anymore. I’m going to build a ramp over my inside stairs so he can walk up and down, instead of his running up usual method. Much easier on his aging hips and legs. Now if only I could get him to use a sliding board, lol!
It's a nice ramp, but it's WAY to steep! The pitch for a wheel chair ramp should be 1" rise for every 12" in length. So really if you have to go UP 4 steps @ 8" a step that would mean the ramp should be 32 feet long. Otherwise someone will have to assist her every time she needs to get in or out of her house
Perfect!!!!👍👍👍 I watched other videos before coming upon yours - my eyes rolled back into my head, I wanted to shoot myself. Another was giving out match calculations ... 🤦 This video is PERFECT - easy peasy ... no Bob Villa wannabes - you got the job done✔️
Boy she is lucky to have you heroes as helpers!
You are such as sweet young man for taking care of your grandmother like that.
Good job!!!! Lol. No grandma was harmed in the making of this video. Too cute. She is lucky to have you all

during the time she was in a wheelchair she never learned to push herself and always had someone to assist
Good grandson! ❤️❤️❤️👍🏾
Thank you. I’ve to get a ramp for my sister!!great ramp.
Thanks, needed this video.
Nice job!!
I know a grandma who needs this....
Great job. I did something similar. Mine is pretty steep, so coming down backwards is the only way to go (with me driving)
❤ 5:34 amazing video
Nice video brother , you make this job very easy and simple
QUE GRAN IDEA,GRACIAS POR EL VIDEO
Your grandma so lucky!
I’m a Gramma who just broke my ankle too! I wish I had some body who could whip this up for me!
"We've gotta get a ramp ready for your grandma in 30 minutes. I'll need your help." "Cool, you do everything, I'll film it."
That’s my job, I’ll hold the camera and the tools 😂
Great job! I am so impressed. I need a ramp for a family member.... How did you decide on the Steepness? Thanks!
We googled the optimal wheelchair ramp angle, which was around 5% or a slope of 1:12
Grandpa did all the work.....nice one zoomer.
I did find out it’s hard to hold a camera and hit a nail at the same time!
@louisianasamuel let gramps hold the camera, zoomy.
AWESOME
Not sure about this 4:35 🤔
Grandma didn't trust grandpa as she kept trying to hold on on the way down...I guess she thought he might let her goooooo
Perfect!!!!👍👍👍

If a Building inspector see's this ramp he will do one of two things #1 ticket you for it or make you tare it down for not being up to code !
This is how men take care of business.
Maw maw said SLOW!!! Get better maw maw
Just lift grandma up and place her outside in the wheelchair.
Good job but keep going paint her deck!
You must be in the will.
Thank you for not being detailed and complicated...
