It is the weirdest feeling going to the store with Com Truise's music. With my headphones plugged in, I feel like I'm on another plain of existence, but I'm really just in the dairy isle. And its just so weird?
I used to read Asimov's "Foundation" series by the river at sunsets while listening to the Galactic Melt album. Somehow it fit perfectly: great vistas of interstellar history and massive spaceships, the hazy yet familiar techno-agoras of Syd Mead drifting to mind, the cozy yet evocative tunes lacking any lyrics to distract the reader... good times.
I feel like Com Truise music fits well with anything, It conveys such an emotion that only Seth Haley can create and express in his music, Com Truise is truly one unique and distinctive individual.
If anyone reads this go check out Clyde Shelton he’s got some serious ass tracks I think are on par with com truise. Almost feel like they’re the same people. And this music still takes me to another planet 4 years later.
Such an amazing song, it’ll no doubt hold up in this decade and the years after it. It feels like I’m in the year 2100, feels like I’m in a type 1 civilization. This is a song that gives me hope that I might make it to that year and what awaits me when I get there. This is also a song for what humanity might achieve in the years ahead. Absolutely love it. ☺️
And I’m more than sure that this song will be used in 2100 for Alien/supernatural documentaries. And people in 2100 are gonna be like “wow what is the name of that song?? It makes me feel like I’m in 2020s” and then they’ll look it up and find it on UA-cam and they’ll see our 80+ year old comments lol

This is why i love com truise. His melodies and moods and time signatures are just tasty. This one kinda had a ambient chillwave metalcore feel lol which i would love to hear him explore more of. But excellent work as always mr seth haley

I really like how this album has styles and hints of Iteration, but definitely keeps it fresh with new sounds that continue to amaze us. I met him at his show this spring, dude was chill as ever. Seth never stop making music
I've seen a ton of concerts. I saw a band I didn't even like 6 times. Com Truise in Syracuse with Nosaj Thing and Cleopold was hands down the best concert I've ever been too. Keep up the good work, Seth.
I was listening to this while read "Moon You" from Webtoons, and it fit so well. I always try to match what a read with what I listen to. Not sure if I'm the only one who has this weird habit
I like the way he lets this track breathe... shows patience and lets it build. My one criticism of his Com Truise work has been his tendency to over-layer/do too much in tracks. Each piece is great but, when layered and crammed into each track the pieces aren’t appreciated as much and tend to weaken each other. This is what BoC is so good at.... letting tracks breathe and allowing the pieces to shine. It’s a less is more approach (put in cliche terms).
Awesome tempo. Has kind of a melancholic tinge to it too. Makes me sad that this may likely be the last Com Truise album. Hopefully he signs on with someone else for more, but he said he wants to move on. :(

@@massiveattack777 Yea, in an interview sometime last year, he said that this album was his last with Ghostly, and that he wasn't sure what was going to come next, be it music or otherwise. In another interview he mentioned how he wanted to work in some other medium other than music.
@@worlddomin623 thanks for the reply. That's some really sad news. Him making new music was one of the only things I waited for in music in general. A rare and unique artist that actually put art in music. Whatever he chooses to do in the future, I wish him success.
Can you point out the source of the interview ? When he announced this EP, all he said was this was the last in accordance to the sound, that doesn't mean he is uncertain as to what he wants to do next. Definitely music, but a new sound. He is modifying, changing his gear for the same too. He is not retiring from making music yet.
