I am absolutely no fan of the policies of the ANC but I disagree that they are the biggest issue. The biggest issue is the kleptocracy.
I would even claim that we would have sufficient growth with ANC policies if the monies would reach the programes as intended.

The biggest issue I see with the ANC is that their Ideology overwrite practical results. IOW they make decisions on Ideology rather than on what practically work on the ground and what South African are experiencing.

It is the Pareto's Principle. Government theft is responsible for 80% of our current problems. I would even give the ANC certain policies in exchange for rooting out corruption. E.g. increase grants only under the condition that the DA can setup a system of preventing corruption of the handing out of grants. The ANC cannot claim the DA is against it. Always add the condition of stopping corruption.
Don't get me wrong, I think grants are terrible but corruption is the way bigger problem.

No matter what your belief, preference or ideology, any person that vehemently opposes a Government Of National Unity clearly does not believe in a unified, forward looking and harmonious South Africa. How can the people of South Africa be free without unity? Makes me think that those parties either have a more sinister agenda for what they want South Africa to be or are simply racists.
Apartheid and racism are words abused as an excuse for pride, incompetence, failures and curruption. Bring humility back in the vocabulary of the heart. It is skin deep and colour blind. 🌈
The EFF are the South African parallel of Germany's National Socialists; the Nazi party. They hide behind the proletariat in order to attack a racial scapegoat.
This works because alot of their criticism of white wealth is valid. A minority of white people, so a minority within a minority own 90% of the country's wealth. That is concerning, considering that a significant portion of that wealth is derivative from old money during Apartheid. In fact, poor white people, like myself, should be just as upset at this imbalance, since we too are receiving the short end of the stick. As a white person in ZA, I wil probably never own property or capital of any kind. I didn't have a rich daddy that could send me to UCT. I didn't inherit an internship position at a finance firm that belongs to a friend of an uncle. That is what BEE and Apartheid money are for.
Back to the EFF. As a communist, I want the EFF far away from South Africa because they will do with ZA what the Nazis did with Germany: pretend to be behind the proletariat, take power, privatise industry and give it to friends of the party. They will commandeer industry and leech it and won't commit to "ownership by workers". They will use it to fund genocide. As a communist, I have the same opinion as Marx: In order fort communism to exist, you first need to go through an economic stage of growth, via capitalism. That the economy first needs that diversity of skills and industrialisation before communism becomes the viable next step.
I don't trust a private company with energy production because of what they do with pricing and lack of accountability. Just read about what private owned energy production has done to America and the UK. It's a crapshow. However, that took place over many decades. I believe in the short term, the capital incentive will promote better energy management and hopefully this new era of governance will breed a new, more mature generation of governance. When that happens, when we have reached a level of state competence, like the U.S government, only then can we necessarily once again decommodify energy again. But privatisation can't be a permanent solution, it will destroy everything. Just look at the abysmal state of U.S healthcare; the only first world country with a healthcare system comparable to South Africa and it is the oly first world country with no universal healthcare.
Regardless, if the EFF, SACP, PAC and so on, were real communists they would understand the need for REGULATED capitalism as an evolutionary step towards communism (I used emphasis there because wanton capitalism is a death sentence). But they don't because they are grifters. They are not progressive. They support Palestine not because Israel is committing a genocide, because they are, but because it is the anti-west, the anti-white position. It is why they are friendly to Russia and China who have us by the balls, even though Russia and China HATE black people, hate gay people, hate trans people. Even though China is committing genocide against the Uighur Muslims or what Russia has done to all its neighours as well as the Ukraine. They are allied with two of the most right-wing governments in the world but call themselves progressive. They are what progressives call "red fascists".

The PA, EFF and MK are considered by many as fascist parties. Their manifestos show that they're so far right that they basically in the same camp as Hitler and Mussolini. So, where's the ideological alignment, Ms Sisulu? And then to have the cheek to say that the ANC systems work..... well, we know how well those work when her beloved party has thuggery, lies, corruption, incompetence and worse stitched forever in their DNA. They don't know how to run an efficient and honest ship. They need the DA whether Sisulu likes it or not. Oh! And does she even serve in government anymore. No!
