Even though we had a different experience with our Whirlpool front loader showing the E3/F8 error, your comment at the end (concerning opening the door) got us up and running. Thank you!
Brilliant. Turned mine off and back on without unplugging it and that solved the problem. Your video gave me the confidence not to call the repair guy.
Bet that problem comes back! I've got the same codes, been avoiding fixing it for several months by just resetting, but it's getting worse and worse. Started out just showing up about once a month and now when I get up in the morning and the washer has been off all night, I hear it in there beeping When checked, the F08 E3 code is always flashing. Darn near every morning, so I guess I need to get working on it. I understand from my Google research that the washer thinks it has too much water and the fix is most likely the water inlet valve, the water pressure switch or the pressure hose, or a clogged drain filter. We'll see.
@@ScottTheFixItGuyChannel Thanks, Scott. I appreciate the response. Here's an update. I asked my wife to try it, but she had already reduced the soap down to almost nothing. I went ahead and ran an empty load with no soap, just to see if it might clear out any soap. The washer went really nuts after it finished - lights flashing, everything locked up, couldn't do anything with it. I unhooked it for a few minutes and got it cleared. Then the wife ran loads all day yesterday with no problems whatsoever. That hadn't happened in several months. Great, right? Woke up this morning at 5 AM and heard the error sound - yep, it was E3 F8, back from the dead : )
Hi Kelly, This is usually caused by too many suds from too much soap. Can you add a cup of white vinegar to the tub after it fills to break up the suds?
That sunset at the end was beautiful. We watched it at church and we all held hands and cried in perfect harmony together. Felt touched
That’s so nice Chris 😊

Thanks so Much for the question. Most people are getting this from adding too much soap which creates too much suds. Try 1/2 as much soap.
