I hope you enjoy my new story! It's the second original tale I've written for the channel. If you did, please give a LIKE and a COMMENT. And if you're new here why not SUBSCRIBE and never miss an episode? That is all.
Son of a b....!!! Didn't see that end coming! 😱 A wonderful, wonderful story - thank you very much. Just like your first story, this one didn't disappoint one bit. Looking forward to the next original L'Estrange tale. 😀
Listening AGAIN to an absolutely amazing and future classic piece of work. I honestly believe you have mastered the art of the short story. Each of the stories posted here, created and performed by you, are without a doubt in a class of their own. And will one day be recognized as examples equal to the "masters of horror." 💜
That was astoundingly good! I laughed out loud many times and exclaimed "oh no" more than once. I was disappointed that they didnt live happily ever after though.
Excellent story! Your narration is profoundly evocative. I would really love to see you collaborate with Ian Gordon of HorrorBabble and Tony Walker of Classic Ghost Stories. I anticipate that the results would be impressive (although there would be some risk that a hole would be torn in the thin veil that separates us from the screaming void, thus ushering in the return of the Old Ones.)
This really is an excellent story isn’t it! My favourite so far, if Jasper was to write a book I would be the first in line to buy it!!! And it has a very similar essence of an older ghost story, it could be set in any era....
This was the first original L'Estrange I've experienced and it was fantastic. Thank you for providing me with entertainment of the highest order. I always really enjoy your uploads and look forward to them every week. And I'm glad you're so productive - there's always one up there for me to click on!
Stunning! Absolutely gripping, fantastic flow, delicious language, electric atmosphere, and not a hair out of place. This is up with the very best. Surely you have been writing in this genre for decades to get to this standard? I listened to the first five minutes just for a taster - and cancelled my plans for the next hour. No choice, I'm afraid. I had to have the whole story with no interruptions. Tomorrow I'll seek out your earlier piece, and then I shall be drooling for your next. ♥ Thank you so much!
Thanks Jane! I've only really just started with my own writing; reading all these vintage horror stories has been an inspiration. Really glad you enjoyed it.
This has come on my birthday Jasper because it’s after midnight and I was born on the 10th of the 10th, I keep seeing the numbers 1010 everywhere! I hope you are well! I am so looking forward to this I haven’t even listened to it yet! I know it’s good because you chose it, and you’ve read it!
@@EnCryptedHorror You probably won’t believe me but this really is the truth! You know I’m really interested in hypnosis, even for a past life regression and spiritualism et cetera so this was the best possible story and it was so well written there is no way in God’s green earth that that would not get published! I am being 100% honest when I tell you that it is my favourite story that I have listened to out of every single one, of those I have already read, on this amazing channel! Absolutely bloody brilliant! Well done! It was like a birthday present!💯🌟♥️✨👑✨♥️🌟
I was searching around for an odd name. Geech (or Geach) was particularly common (in times gone by) in the English south-west and apparently means "a naieve person". I liked the irony of that for the story.
Wonderful creepy story, Jasper. Sounds like Dr. Lattimer needs to make an appointment with Dr. John Silence…actually that would make a great cross-over sequel!
Haha! Yes, indeed. I'm not sure Dr Latimer is going to make it, to be honest... but great idea. I'm surprised Netflix haven't picked up the Silence character yet. Such a terrific idea with vast possibilities...
Excellent terrific story. I once foolishly invited in an entity to possess me and I don't know if I ever fully freed myself of it. I still seem to sense its presence some nights. This story is extremely uncanny
Your story is very well written and held my attention throughout. The ending was superb. I congratulate you and will love to hear more in the future. Truly mellifluous voice and storytelling talent. Bravo
Wow, that was beautiful, listened again and was again struck - and horrified. You are one of the (I won't say the, as I don't know them all) best horror-writers, and absolutely horror-readers, today. Your writing is free of clichés and tired old phrases which one otherwise so often finds; and this take on Jekyll-Hyde / demonic possession is wonderful. I just wish the poor fool had had a few more months of "matrimony" before wishing, Jekyll-like, for death....
I thought I commented on this story, if I did, sorry I’m here again. This was really good. Very twisty. Made me feel a little uncomfortable. But in a good way. Thanks for sharing it.
Cutting eyeholes because Geech had nice eyes?? Argh! I used to do the same with my ex...Love the shots of dark humour you give your writing. Very well written and performed as ever. Thank you. 💕
This is one of the creepiest stories I have ever heard from you. I think what made it so deliciously terrifying what is that I thought I knew what was going to happen. I did not even imagine that there would be a supernatural element in the end, because I was convinced that the patient was seducing the psychiatrist the entire time. I love this story so much.
Thanks S C! 😊 Glad you enjoyed the story. Definitely not famous 😄 and, as for the subs, your guess is as good as mine. I am clueless as to how to grow this channel (or how long it should take to grow!). Nowadays I just assume the algorithm will take care of it...but it's soooooooooo slow 😆😴

Absolutely top story Jasper! Splendid pacing and denouement on the station platform. I look forward to hearing more like it.

Woah! L'Estrange Original!
Woah, that was outstanding! Brilliant yarn and, as always, beautifully and silkily narrated.
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed.
