I relate to this heavily. We said we loved each other, but I was the only one telling the truth. I was so patient, so understanding. She would never text me unless I texted first. She would misgender me a few times, despite me being open about my pronouns and what I was comfortable with. I broke things off, it hurt but it was for my mental health.
