I really hope to see the jezabels someday. I live in mexico but i dont lose the hope they come to my country. They are my all time fav band, the love i feel cant be described by words. Thanks for record this show 💖
I really hope for your sake they visit Mexico but I wouldn't want to put any money on it. I live in their home city and I was beginning to think I'd never get to see them live. However, having said that, they played again two nights ago, at the university where they all meet and came together as a band. Wouldn't it be nice if they decided to put another album out. Thanks for commenting.
Yes, Nik Kaloper is a fabulous drummer. It was his playing that first attracted me to the band. And it was as much to see him play live as to see the band as a whole, which is why I had to attend this show.
It was a great show. Hopefully, The Jezabels will do some more concerts in the not too distant future. Meanwhile, I'm thinking of seeing Hayley in one of her upcoming gigs. Great new single from her.
I've seen them play 4 times between NYC and Boston, by far my favorite live band I've ever seen... and Prisoner is one of the top albums of my 41 years of life.
Sadly, I discovered them late and they had already stopped playing live. This short anniversary tour was a godsend for me. I envy you having seen them four times. Thanks for commenting.
@@Peter_LiveMusic the 2nd time I saw them, Imagine Dragons were there opening band and the Jezabels blew them out of the water... I never understood why the Jezabels never got as popular after.
@@teapotdome They've just announced a one off gig in November as part of a music festival. I won't be able to get to it but I'm hoping there'll be more from them some time soon. 🤞
@@josos8711 I would have loved to have been. Just a little far for me. Really hoping they'll announce another Sydney gig sometime soon. Glad you enjoyed the Gosford show.
I was so happy to finally get the chance to see them live. They performed eight times around Australia to mark the tenth anniversary of Prisoner. I know they have since performed one more time at Sydney University. They have never officially split up. It was an 'indefinite hiatus' following Heather's cancer treatment. And of course, they've all gone on to do different things since then. But hopefully, fingers crossed, they will perform together again sometime in the future. And wouldn't a new album be great !!! Not sure that that's likely though. Thanks for commenting.

@@javigomez1697 No disrespect taken. The word is a play on 'orgasm'. If any band is going to give you an aural orgasm, it will be The Jezabels. Happy listening.
I've been longing to see them live for a long time now so this tour was exactly what I'd been wishing for. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I just wish the sound could have been a little better. But that's never the case when you're right at the front. Thanks for commenting.
Just brilliant! I've always loved your music from the first time I heard it. My neice from Sydney introduced me to you to me years ago. Got your CD and always watiching on you guys on youtube. Take care guys. Love Paul from England
Me alegra mucho que hayas disfrutado el vídeo. La música es a lo que siempre recurro cuando necesito ayuda durante un día o una semana. No valdría la pena vivir la vida sin él. Cuidarse.
Thanks for commenting. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm a little surprised it hasn't gotten more views as I know there are a lot of Jezabels fans right around the world very keen to see them live. I was very pleased that I got the chance.
I'm sure everyone is hoping for new music from them, and it's not impossible, but Hayley is pushing ahead with her solo career and I think a couple of the others have their own projects too. Some more live performances are a more likely happening. Perhaps one will lead to the other. Fingers crossed.

One of all time top 100 drummers.

@@Peter_LiveMusic i heard that drum beat on A little Piece from the Danny Macaskill video and I've been hooked since.
@@teapotdome He's a wonderful drummer. The whole band is great but his drumming is the icing on the cake.
@@teapotdome, wow.. having the exact same story here for 13 years, great picture, great songs with Loch Lomond and The Jezabels..

They played Gosford last Sat, in the rain, bugger all crowd at 6pm, they were fckn awsome.
Supported a top twenty cover band, I left, still buzzing.

What a band... I though they'd split up, how happy I was to see they are still goin on strong! Thanks a million for the upload!

Terrific concert! Please come back to the States!
Not gonna lie - the second and third choruses of Endless Summer - her choreography - what an effing tease!

Che sorca stratosferica e poi sono la band migliore che esiste ora
