  • I couldn't find a teardown video for this saw on UA-cam, so I had to make one myself. This was a teardown of a new saw and was to harvest the motor and transmission for a custom wood part making CNC machine I am working on. Hope you find it useful.
BTW, I was planning to use a Bauer 20v saw, but they were sold out everywhere. (This was filmed in self isolation at the beginning of the Covid-19 Coronapanic during which no TP or Harbor Freight 20v saws - you know, the real essentials - were available.) Based on my recent unfilmed teardown of the Bauer (Harbor Freight) drill and the Craftsman saw (apples and oranges), I think the Bauer tool was MUCH better built. But this will suffice.

Is it a decent DIY around the house garage saw build wise?

Did you ever find out what the PBC board was for?

I'm looking to jerry rig an adapter for a different 20v battery for this saw. Is there any way you could upload a close up of the battery connectors and the wires that attach to them?
