As to the timing of the Tribulation: the rapture, the secong coming, the beast, etc, it would be much better to simply obey what we have learned from God's word 1) to deny one's will for His will everyday 2) to take up one's cross and follow Him 3) to overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil. 4) to endure till the end.
Let me make it very simple: You will see a third temple rebuilt in Jerusalem shortly after the 7 year covenant is made by the Anti-Christ (Daniel 9:27). Sacrifices start to be made and continue until the Anti-Christ appears in the temple - 3 1/2 years after the 7 year covenant is announced. THAT marks the beginning of the great tribulation, the last 3 1/2 year period.
The greatest thing will be the head chop. Those people that lose their heads, literally, because they do not deny Christ. They will live with Him in the first 1,000 year reign of Christ.
The souls who took part in the first resurrection are those who heard and believed the powerful testimony of Christ (that is his death and resurrection for them) and the powerful word of his God. The spirit that was leading them to sin and enslaving them in darkness (that is their former head) were cut off and Christ became their new head or leader. Thus, they took part in the first resurrection of souls. They are no longer dead souls but the living ones and immortal ones. During the bright thousand year-judgment, they serve God and his Christ as priests for they will offer their bodies as their living sacrifices and use them as tools for good works. These bodies are their chosen people during these bright end times and you belong to these bodies of theirs if you believe.
@@rexcavalier We know that the Christians who were beheaded during the tribulation period will live and reign with Christ one thousand years, the millenium. How do we know this? God reveals this to us, through John of course, in Revelation 20:4 - - - "... and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years." How do we know these are those Christians beheaded during the triublation period? Because they did not worship the beast or his image and did not receive the mark of the beast in their forehead or hand.
@@rexcavalier Then in Rev 20:5 it says: But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
@@robertbrown7470 There are dead souls...those who will remain under the shadow of death and will not be able to cross from death to life. The first resurrection is the rise to salvation of souls. The resurrection of their bodies, however, will take place at the last trumpet.
To my understanding, Pastor David does believe in the rapture (catching up) of the church before the Great Tribulation described in the book of Revelation. - Enduring Word Staff
What device are you trying to listen on ? , me personally always I use a computer , and the sound it good . Phones probably not so good unless you use earphones of some kind to get the quality better , oh and check your sound icon is on too
I don't see it. Are there two aspects? Paul wars not to be deceived. He says the rapture (our gathering together unto him) can't happen until the Lawless one is revealed. Then Paul says the rapture happens SO the Lawless one can be revealed. So therefore, the rapture happens before and after the Lawless one is revealed?? Does that make sense? Isn't Paul contradicting himself?
Pastor Lance replies - I think you missed the ,main point of Pastor David's message. Paul does NOT say that the RAPTURE can't happen until the lawless one is revealed. He says "that day" can't happen till then. The "day" Paul is referring to is "the day" those who first received the letter would think of - which is "The Day of the Lord" = a day of judgment - not the rapture. If you take that back into the text, everything falls into place.
@@DavidGuzikEnduringWord But didn't Paul equate the Day of the Lord with his coming, the destruction of the wicked, and the rapture? It says, "Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren, you have no need of anything to be written to you. 2 For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. 3 While they are saying, “Peace and safety!” then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief (1Thess. 5). Which day? The day of the Lord. See also how the church is rescued from persecutions when the Lord comes and destroys the wicked, not years prior in a pretrib rapture. It says, "For after all it is only just for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you, 7 and to give relief to you who are afflicted and to us as well when the Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire, 8 dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus" (2Thess. 1:6-8). You see the day of the destruction of the wicked is the same day as the relief for the church from persecutions. That would mean the rapture is at the 2nd coming. It is on the Last Day. Amen?

I’ve always thought the falling away meant a massive apostasy as well.
Thank you Pastor David

My Bible says , " that the day of Christ is at hand ". , the new translations , say " that the day of the Lord has already come " ?
Paul wrote how to know if you are in the DAY OF THE LORD, not in "the tribulation."

I’m hoping I misunderstood. But are you saying you do NOT believe in pretrib rapture?!
