Great video at age 76 I am an old man so I do as you and Ben Hogan teaches, I feel a heavy buttocks as I use all the components of my legs and feet to get into my golf posture and thus eliminate my bending down with my neck and having a slouch of an old man. From their I simply trust my swing that keeps me in my golf posture until the end of my swing Cheers 🥂👍😊👌
Great video, I wish I had seen this video sooner. This is exactly something I had realized recently. First I found if I look straight down to the ball, my chin is limit my shoulder and arm rotation and then I realized if my neck and back spline not parallel, it is harder to keeping my head level and still during backswing rotation due to the fact that head and spline are not in the same axis (become a much difficult 6DOF rotation) and which result inconsistency to hit the ball.
Pushing your butt out will limit movement and can cause you to raise or drop your head, you will also get back pain. Easiest way to check is if you feel a kink in your lower back by pushing your your butt then you are doing it wrong. Relax and keep the back straight without the kink in lower back. You then free up the hips for an easier turn.
