Yellowtail on Horizon Charters May 5th 7th 2023

Booked a last minute trip that openend up on The Horizon out of H & M Landing May 5th 2023 . A 1.5 day offshore trip targeting Tuna, Yellowtail, Dorado, and other offshore game fish. The Horizon was recently aquired by Captian Bill of the Malihini and added to the offshore fleet lineup . This was the 1st Freelance trip for 2023 . Ran into some fellow Anglers from previous trips and some new Anglers as well. The 1st night we never stopped on any Bluefin schools , found a few in the morning hours but we had no takers . We searched and fished all the pattys we found and ended up with a good number of medium grade Yellowtail .39 Yellowtail, 6 Spanish Jack. I lost (1) Bonita , (1) Yellowtail to breaking off and farmed a couple others . I apologize for the pirate talk as always .
