    Great tips! The guy who patiently taught me to paint in 1990 told me that a lot of people can paint but a good painter knows how to fix mistakes and they're going to happen. Wise words. My old boss had been painting long before me and asked me how to fix a dirt nib in the base coat. I thought he was joking. He also thought black was the hardest colour to blend. I guess experience doesn't necessarily equate to knowledge sometimes.

    Hey Gabe, it's great to see another video from you Sir I always look forward to them so a big thanks my friend🙏
    Fabulous job on the base and clear it came out first class as always plus there was some useful tips there, I looked though the comments but no one else mentioned that the audio (voice over) kept going very quiet and completely cutting out at times, maybe it's at my end but it didn't spoil the video for me.
    Have you had a chance to try the new Iwata WS400 Series2 Gabe? if you do I would recommend you try it, I bought the 1.3HD Digital version and what a fantastic gun it's a total joy to use👏🙏👍 John UK

    Thanks for all the great videos. In one of your videos a long time ago you discussed the air nozzle you used to blow off the car. I can't find that old video. Could you provide names or part numbers for the pieces you used to put together that blower? Cheers.

      Ask away - There's ALWAYS collision painters like myself that watch each others videos..... That color you're referencing is spendy $$$ !!!!! It would be cheaper to find an auto body shop or supplier to sell you their left over Ford RR color !! Since it's a popular color, shops usually have a gallon can that's being filled with leftovers at the end of each job..... Or,, your next alternative for even less $ would be to get some leftover red metallic or pearl base coat & add some apple red tint from Kustom Shop candy tint from TCP global for way less......

      Most of the time full trigger but depending on how the color is looking I don't want to put it on wet

    You forget to mention, slow or medium clear. Surface temp. Etc. Details ARE IMPORTANT 👀

    • @thistledewoutdoors3331
      @thistledewoutdoors3331 Рік тому +1

      SLOWER - IS FASTER !!!! Nice booths like that are typically within average operating specs required by all manufacturers.... 72° is a great temp. Be mindful of your panel temps.
