Massive spoilers ahead for those who haven't finished Fear and Hunger 1. We know Enki S is canon, due to his books being in Termina. I hear floating around that Ragnvaldr S is also canon because it's mentioned somewhere in the game too? His S ending has no real impact on the story so I really don't care. I suspect that D'arce S ending is canon, and thus Le'garde, after rebirthing, went further into Ma'habre to ascend to a decrepit version of the Yellow King we today know as Kaiser. Cahara's S ending is completely up to speculation. Sabbath was a mass produced sword so that's no point toward his sword in his ending. However, due to ending A being canon, Cahara might be the one who brought Nilvan's child down to the Heart of the Depths. This could've also just been another random dude we never get to hear of, as the MC is said to be forgotten forever after getting ending A. If Cahara S was canon, there would be some traces of his nobel lineage in Central Europe. But we don't see those.
At the start of the game, there's a debug tile. Some playtest thing left behind my the developer, which he forgot to remove. It gives you the Outlander and Knight if you don't have one of them individually.
@@jas3.14 I just tested this out. So, if you walk BACK over the tile like I accidentally just did, you get all 3 other party members instead of just the two. I am playing a modded version of the game (Reign of the New Gods) but this may be worth testing on vanilla as it could greatly impact speedrun time. I'll get a clean install, and let you know. EDIT: I am also playing as Outlander on Terror and Starvation for the Main Character. This may impact the debug tile as well. Further testing to be done.
Can confirm, it's just the mod. You are correct, and it is only the Outlander and Knight, and this is independent of any difficulty modifier. Though, the cursed swords seem to not spawn on every version. Curious if there are more debug tiles in the courtyard.
There's a bunch of other tiles you can find, which I don't use. I highly admire the Reign of the New Gods, the modder did a really good job on it, and still continue to! However I do not allow the modification of game files, and this includes mods. Thanks for letting me know though! I will make use of this when I play their mod again. :p
I use Phase Step to teleport behind the guardian and then walk sideways, this is technically the same as walking into the door. Afterwards I just get the key and proceed as regular.
So why'd you leave Enki poisoned and on 2 hunger for most of the run? Just didn’t have the items to tend to it? And also what was the hidey hole thing for? The Crow Mauler? 23:09
I missed a part of your comment in my previous reply, I'm sorry about that! I didn't bother it because there are only 2 fights in the game I have to do. Poison only ticks off in battle after all. And for the hidey hole, I'll say on thing: Greater Blight.
Yes, looting enemies, looking through crates and interacting with armories give you items that make you stronger. This game uses the EXP bar as its "hunger" bar, and when you "level up", the game blinds you and might even kill you.
To recruit Nas'hrah, you need to have the Eclipse Talisman, which you get from talking to Yellow Mages, and also need the Cube of the Depths. You're completely right that the DPS would not be worth the time loss. Since poison does most of the work in fights anyway, having more party members often makes fights take longer than they ought to be.
If you stand on that tile, and press space / enter / z, you will trigger a hidden event the developer used to get Ragnvaldr and D'arce for debugging and playtesting purposes.
First, you do not kill your sister and accept your defeat. Then you do not burn down the temple and run away (running related option). Next up it doesn't matter what god you dedicate to. And finally you "chase after him." (running related option) When you're ever in doubt about what options give dash in an intro, just choose and trust the options that correlate to running away.
It's not like any of these are really hard to get to experienced players. For starters I do definitely just recommend what suits best for their knowledge.

Aside from the fact that he fucking cheated and spawned two party members at the very beginning. This video isn't useful at all

This deserves at least a mil views. The game is extremely difficult.
after you get darce and ragn at the debug tile, you immediately upgrade their weapons to cursed. is that a separate glitch?
Yes, you get the cursed short swords from the debug tile I stand still on for a second in the beginning!

Kind of interesting how broken the game is, with some of the glitches. I don't know if that is do to RPG maker or something else.
