Setup an augmented reality #AR project in Unreal Engine 5.3 in 10 minutes! You can find the official docs here - dev.epicgames.com/documentati... - Наука та технологія
Thank you so much for making this- it’s the only clear narrated tutorial I’ve found so far for this on unreal 5
Thank you. That's perfect. It's just so unfortunate that these videos don't get enough impressions. I'm gonna try implementing this in oculus quest 3 passthrough.
Did you get it working on the oculus quest 3?
Your video is very informative, are you going to create more on AR with Unreal engine?
Thank you and yes, there is more coming! Working on something actually ^^ Stay tuned :)
All working, thanks! The object always sits in the foreground, nothing can pass in front of it. How might I get that setup? Thank you
There is no depth data, so the digital content will always be rendered on top.
How did you connect your phone to the unreal editor to test?
actually just set up android development, connect it via usb and set it to data transfer mode. charging only is not enought.
How Do YOU FIX the auto focus for AR it seems to be messed up?
I unfortunately do not know how to fix this. My wild guess is, that this is an UE5 problem, sry :/
You dont need to install android sdk etc?
I skipped the initial UE5 setup, as this is already well described in their docs, but you'll need to do that beforehand!
can you do a tutorial using Google's Geospatial API?
On my list :)
second this! and Azure cloud anchors would be amazing
How do I fix Gradle!?
Check the UE5 docs for setting up Android build capabilities.
Hi, good tutorial, until !0:30. Suddenly you put an unreal Pixel 8 pro phone emulator screen on the video, showing it working? Massive jump. Doesn't show us how to actually have the AR working on our phones. Waste of time. Thank you
It's not an emulator, it's a screen mirror of a real phone. And it's just the showcase of the tutorial to show what will be built. Make sure to waste your time pointing out things that are actually bad, otherwise it's a real waste of time 😘
Useless tutorial, you didn't show the most import thing - how to connect and enable the phone...
Hehe, you just didn't listen ^^ It's only connecting it via USB, switch to data transfer mode and select it for deployment in the Unreal editor. Simple right? 😘
@@firedragongamestudio my english is not first language and I probably missed something. For people like me would be nice if you show all steps
@@kristianrabakov8579 I'll keep that in mind for future tutorials! Thx for the feedback!
