I passed on it. I think it would be more appealing if it could stand properly. If Mattel made the crest operate the beak, they would have been able to properly articulate the neck.
I got this one,the yangchuanosaurus,therizinosaurus,the Owen escape pack,Sayona(or something like that) and atrociraptor,Owen and velociraptor Beta, and 2 different sets of minis,and the moros intepridus. I don’t know how to spell some of the dinos so just ignore that.
I definitely 💯 percent need this Quezalcoatlus because this flying Dinosaur right now was a canon species in Jurassic World Dominion 😃. I am Malaysian, we do not have word known as flying reptile, like usual I will say, we just call this species known as flying Dinosaur rather than flying reptile because i as Malaysian, NEVER have that word known as flying reptile, we have word known as flying Dinosaur only 😔. I wish Mattel made a giant, articulated toy of this that could stand as well as fly - it would be as big as the t.rex toy. Wouldn't that be awesome. Also, a massive aeroplane vehicle toy.
Just recently got the Owen Escape Pack. Almost got on where a small part of the Carno's upper jaw was chipped, and another had awful paint splotches on its teeth, but I got a better one
Cool. I'd recommend you to lock the white balance on your camera to avoid washed out takes. Most of the times the details are lost until we can see the images at the end of the video
At first I thought that the body was a repaint of the older Quetzalcoatlus but there actually are differences in almost everything. I do wish they’d make the wings wider because they still seem a bit small but I still love it. Wish it could stand though

Also, I guess since the dust has settled & everyone has moved on, I understand how you may be wondering why im so dissapointed in thier god awful sorry asses. Watch her vid my guy, multiple times if need be as it holds up as much today, as the day she uploaded it. I hope she NEVER retracts a single word, & hope she never removes it from her channel. This is really underwhelming, I was looking forward to this but I'm not sure I'm going to bother. It's a shame because they could have done so much with it. Also it's way over priced.
My kid have birthday tomorrow and I bought that Mattel Dino for our collection. So, first look..yeah looks great but...there is huge downside. First obvious is aren't got what we have on the box! I mean, painting is not like on the box where we have very clear, visible dark grey , straight lines starting from the eyes down the neck and all the body, which looks very intriguing but we don't have that on the toy! Why nobody say ab that. First reaction was, I'm confused , should I returned toy cause it's missing something. But I'm watching another video and yours missing same painting. It's not what I paid for Mattel! I believe, as You make nice reviews , you should clearly say about that and direct that to Mattel. Why there's different painting on the box? Ok, another thing I always notice and don't get it . It's the eyes . Why all Mattel Dino's have such small invisible eyes? Does dinosaurs had such small eyes and same time they were great hunters, killing machines.. Look the lizards, reptiles, all of them have not just big eyes, but amazing, 3D deep colorful eyes able observe in wide range. I believe taking that as example these toy would be much more attractive with such eyes. Another with that particular flying Dino toy..Mattel already did flying Dino with sound feature. when I first saw quetzalcoatlus, I hoped it will have sound. Why they don't continue that? Isn't nice feature? It's very playable to play pushing slightly button which start moving wings and play awesome different sounds.. Quetzalcoatlus it's quite big toy.

It shouldn't be secret that I'm buying mattel dinosaurs cause i am value them upon other dino toys and when playing with my son I'm became child once again. Also my child reaction was main reason. His small, not speaking yet, but excitment when he receive that toys pushing him to express himself bit more. He is looking at details, specially mouth, teeth, staring at them touching, trying to name them so its educational as well. More details, fratures-more words to describe it. About quetzalcoatlus I'm afraid of fragile wings..My son is 3 tomorrow, he is throwing them on the floor when fighting. He loves t-rex, everything with big mouth, teeth, strong, powerfull. Hope he would not decapitated Quetzal wings :-D. I will updated later on but like i mention before, would be awesome having sound in it. 10 point scale. -1 for missing painting, -1 for missing sound action Damn it, always have idea which i have met on other mattel dinos, like sticking out rubber tongue on t-rex . I think its that one called "extreme roaring". My child catching that tongue so its nice detail.
@@Emerj18 Like I've said, my kid is all after big jaw, teeth in t-rex. I had to show him that huge beak quetzalcoatlus have is danger too and he can attack and harm another dino. He did that but than he took mososaurus with huge jaw and put that bird in his mouth and squeeze to eat....so bigger its better and unfortunately it costs lot more. Here, proportions of that quetzalcoatlus are ok but like ways ive notice that wings are placed on end of the body and their interrupt for little child fingers to push action buttons. In mattel dinosaurs these buttons sometimes are not easy to work. To push u need to use little force and for kid under 3 yrs it is challenging. After i showed him how it works, he tried but couldn't so he left toy and run away. I hope he will play in a future. Ahh i should buy another t-rex instead that bird.
The legs moving independently is really good, you can use that to make it run and look like it’s preparing to take off

its a shame that they dont have some of the flying figures able to stand because then they are just stiff.
I think the amber collection pteranodon is the only jp figure that can do that.

Mattel should do more pterosaurs and marine reptiles like Ornithocheirus and Tylosaurus.
Maybe some collectors can choose to display the previous Quetz as an Arambourgiania or Hatzegopteryx!
