Terra's theme is one of determination, hope, and his unwavering desire to do what's right - even when that desire is led horribly astray. Our arrangement follows him across the worlds as seeds of doubt and darkness are planted - from meetings in the Enchanted Dominion, to his decision to break off on his own despite pleas from Ventus and Aqua. Though he doubles down on his efforts to prove himself Keyblade Master material, the influence of Master Xehanort grows stronger and stronger until Terra is forced into a battle of sheer power. The piece ends, still recognizable as Terra, but harking back to the world's very first glimpse of him - with gold eyes.

In celebration of KINGDOM HEARTS and the stunning melodies of Yoko Shimomura, Utada Hikaru, Takeharu Ishimoto, and Tsuyoshi Sekito, we present Project Destati’s second volume.
DARKNESS is the highly-anticipated follow-up album to Project Destati’s 2014 Billboard-charting soundtrack album “LIGHT.” The album is a musical amalgamation of fan-favorite themes from the KINGDOM HEARTS series, re-assembled in an all-new fashion like long-forgotten memories.
Featuring a live string orchestra and industry-leading soloists, DARKNESS is a dark, grand, and mysterious musical experience that aims to capture Tetsuya Nomura’s own imagination.

With the revelation that even Ansem and Xemnas were in an abusive relationship with Xehanort, someone who was emotionally vulnerable like Terra stood absolutely no chance when Xehanort gave him the vindication Eraqus wouldn't.
And then there's the Master of Masters: abusive boyfriend to the entire timeline
*Xehanort slow head turns to Terra*
"Have you ever heard of the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise?"
It's not a story the precepts would tell you

If this version of his theme played I would've probably died from hype.
I loved that scene...plus it confirmed a very interesting theory.

We spent so long wondering where his heart went... it's fitting that it was right behind us the entire time.
I actually really love Terra’s and Riku and their interactions. And you realize KH 1 happens and Riku’s whole desire to venture out comes from him.
Riku could have ended up like Terra and Xehanort before him...but he has something Xehanort could never imitate: having Sora as a friend.

Terra's story is really unique and realistic, something that everybody can relate to. He has darkness in his heart, but he's not bad. He's gullible like a kid, but doesn't hurt somebody until he realises that what he's doing is not good. He eventually redeems himself like anyone else would do. Moreover, we can also conclude that Darkness cannot be always bad and Light cannot be always good. We learned alot from Terra. I'm just glad that he finally gets rid of his darkness in KH3 and he's a guardian of Light. Basically, Terra suffered alot.
Agreed and the idea that Light won't always be good is something I think we will see more of in the coming saga. I mean just look at Luxu and that name, closest meaning is light. I would imagine they will go down this route with the foretellers and maybe even the master of masters.
Part of me wished Terra we know and Terra from FF6 would’ve met. They could’ve shared there stories of struggle and it would be nice seeing those two get along

Definitely my favorite rendition.
I would also like to point out that you have truly captured the feeling of a tragic hero. It starts off heroic and with confidence representing the beginning of Terra's redemption to achieve the mark of mastery, then brings a melancholic feel towards the middle, and is followed by 2:44 that combines Terra's theme with that of Xemnas and Ansem. Symbolizing Terra's affinity to darkness, probably when he fought Master Eraqus to protect Ventus or when he battles Xehanort. I often forget that Xehanort, Xemnas, Ansem, and all other vessels pretty much stem from Terra which makes it that much more emotional to listen to. Great work Project Destati!
Terra has been pretty much the main villain of Kingdom Hearts.

Xehanort is simply Xehanort, the final villain who simply used Terra as a stepping stone, however his own Nobodies come From Terra himself and their appearance is made all the more obvious if you compare their appearance. Terra might have been a stepping stone in this entire story for Xehanorts scheme, but without Terra, Xehanort never would have had been able to be so close to reach his Plan, much less have 2 of the most powerful beings in KH who aren't keyblade Wielders.
Terra's affinity is earth not darkness.

When you realise that your theme doesn't even need a remix for a battle just show how much of a badass your character is.

Ventus VS Vanitas: Gets bodied the first time, levels up, can still only achieve double KO
Aqua VS Vanitas: Barely wins each time and falls unconscious afterward
Terra VS Vanitas: Vanitas runs away after getting smacked around easily
To add insult to injury vanitas was probably holding back in the keyblade graveyard fights
Against ven because him and xehanort wanted to forge the X blade

Really annoying when they always cite him trusting the villains. We knew these villains from childhood, Terra only just met them and had no reason to think they were bad people.

Terra is one of the best heroes of KH
His biggest problem is trying to help the first person he meets, regardless of obvious evilness cues. Ten munny says Xehanort arranged most of those first encounters.

It starts out so confident and innocent and throughout as I feel the tone shift it brings different moments of Terras journey to the surface with the climax being that final nod to Fate of the unknown which i suppose is appropriate considering that after that fight it also signifys his own End.

Whooo, Terra. As much as I love his themes, I can't say the same for the character himself, but his lingering will... It's a different story.
This should be the original soundtrack for the final battle in kingdom hearts 3. At the keyblade-graveyard under kingdom hearts, every friend from every world joins sora, riku, kairi, donald, goofy and micky to fight against xehanort, vanitas and the others.
Why do all my attempts to reach you fail? If you do not have it in your heart to obey, then you will have to share Ventus' fate...
I cannot count how many times I've listened to this alone Terra deserves happiness Xehanort stole that from him..
If anything, we should have a real fight between Terra and Xehanort.
Think about it; a final fight between a level 99 Terra and one of the strongest incarnation of Xehanort to ever grace Kingdom Hearts.
It would make for an epic finale.

Yen Sid is not the teacher of Xehanort. Just a friend of him and Eraqus.
At least Terra knows all the times he's been duped. Ven rarely even notices when he, say, gives the poison apple back to the Evil Queen, and his memories of some of those times got erased.
