It is bittersweet watching you come to the final episode of your journey, thank you for documenting your adventure. Still out here sitting on the edge of our seat watching, anxiously watching for you standing on the sign at the summit!
We spotted with our little eyes 13 blazes, cute toadstools, orange fungus looking things, and a lot of shoes! Keep safely heading nobo!! Thank you so much for carrying us along!
Ramdino included bandits report on his update yesterday. Glad to see you back on the air today. Kind of crazy to think you can hike 2000 miles and have a 100 mile wilderness be so daunting ! Sounds like it’s critical to maintain dry items like socks and puffs and layers for sleeping. Charge hard and enjoy it because by all reports it’s magnificent. Will be exciting to hear about your adventures on the other side. Keep this in mind. Never criticize someone until you have walked a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you’ll be a mile away and you’ll have their shoes.!!! Seems the only right way to finish this adventure is YOUR way!!!! Go get ‘em!! And see if you can find Bandit a moose.
I always keep the puffy and quilt dry for sure. Happy to share stories of this amazing adventure! 😂 I need a new pair of shoes! And still no moose😡 Thanks so much!
It took us 6 days to complete the 100 mile Wilderness. Camping between the two lakes at Antlers Campsite was AWSOME! Nice sunset and sunrise. Also a double privy there.. Rainbow stream Lean-To should be your last stop.. We actually saw Bull winkle between there and Abol Bridge... HUGE Moose, with massive antlers.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Maverick71~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Benefits are you don’t need a level spot to set up, but I think you do need to carry a bit more to make it work. I’ve never slept in a hammock but some people say they are very comfortable. I sleep on my side so not sure it would work the best for me but I’m not knocking them! Hope you enjoy your thru! Glad you’re getting out there!
Apologies… I got this tune from my video editing software and have since deleted it off my phone because I needed to free up memory and can’t seem to find it again. I’ll keep trying to find it! Thanks
Been dreaming of doing this for years, just don't think I'll ever get the chance. How old are you? I'm 40 - worried I will be too old when I finally have the chance.

I honestly can't decide for my thru hike if I will use my hammock or tent...what are your thoughts on hammock camping the AT?

Can you tell us about the music. Love it.

I’m 54 but have seen folks much older getting it done. If you stay active and have the right mind set. You can definitely do it! Thanks!
I was just going to ask if you've seen a moose yet then read in the comments. That would be awesome. Stay safe
We have been looking hard for a moose but no luck yet! I appreciate all the well wishes for safety! Thanks
Can’t believe haven’t commented but got it,miss ya all
Thank you very much!👍
