I bought a baby doll and put a onesie that my son wore on it so his scent would be on it. I would place the doll on the floor or just sit with it and interact with my dog.
I worked with him and he learned the rules.
Actually a little too well. He got extremely protective. He would sleep outside his door, growl at people who approached his stroller etc.
He’s a mini schnauzer but, he doesn’t play any games.😂

My daughter and her husband went through the same thing with their fur babies when they had their baby. You want them to still feel loved and a priority but you’re spending all of your time with the baby and then you feel bad because you feel like you’re not giving the fur babies the same time and love. It gets better in time and then the baby becomes the baby to the fur babies. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
