I went there when I was 18 years old and wound up staying for 3 months. I loved it. I did get to have a meeting with the Dalai Lama when he arrived one day, it was very special. xoxo.

North eastern states are Sikkim, Meghalaya, Manipur, Assam , Arunachal- , Nagaland. all these places offers enchaintrd view of Nature- death Valleys, green mountains, forest & waterfalls. Less explored part of India by foreigners, free of pollution, free of overcrowding, eco friendly atmosphere.

This state in India is amazing. Really worth travelling around. This is quite a touristy place thanks to the Dalai Lama but there are many other hidden gems around, just as good or even better. Have you been to India? 🙏
The temple in Bhagsu is amazing I first saw it in 2006 while it was being built Everything was just as it is now but no colour All white cement Really strange that was Saw it again in 2016 which was just as you saw As for being 15 years too late because there is construction everywhere Well I first was in India in the mid 70s and everyone was saying it then Same every time I've been back haha Enjoyed the video a lot Thank you

You have to live in bhagsu to catch hold of all the peaceful vibes of macleodganj, staying in macleodganj itself is not very great as it is too crowded and commercialized, but if u go bhagsu or dharamkot u will get much cheaper rooms if u negotiate well and food will also be matching ur tastebuds and the vibes are just too peaceful and u wont just wanna leave that place✌️✌️ happy travelling and u r a great channel🙌

Alex has a neutral British accent and Malin is Swedish with a neutral British accent. Maybe we speak to fast rather than have strong accent. We're English teachers and speak with very little accent.
We did use oyo a couple of times and sadly most of the times they didn't have WiFi even though it said they had. The cleanliness varied as well. Thanks for watching 🙏

Just did a quick google search and apparently it got it's name aftera a Sir Donald Friell McLeod KCSI CB who was a Lieutenant Governor of British Punjab (PunSir Donald Friell McLeod KCSI CB was a Lieutenant Governor of British Punjab (Punjab is the neighbouring state). Apparently he discovered this place and used it as an escape from the heat of Punjab.

Himachal Pradesh's local population is declining .. it's the outsiders who are coming here to earn money and they are deteriorating beauty of hill station ..but village life of Himachal Pradesh is dream life..in Kasauli last year government destroyed unauthorised construction done by outsiders in the forest land and owner shot the police officer ..the problem is it's very peaceful state and police is not very arm equipped..

Himachalis are low in population. It's not that they don't litter, they do. Less population of Indians just means more beauty regardless of which state they are from lol. Sorry it's sad but true.
Many Tibetans who used to live in Dharamsala like myself don 't live there they live in different continents like US, Canada, Australia etc. We are lucky we go to see Different parts India to see HH the Dalai Lama. Also sometimes HH visits those Coutires and we see him. We also attend Kalachakra World Peace Prayers by HH the Dalai Lama in BodhGaya Bihar, many other destinations. We donate to poor people even though we are not rich.

Dalai Lama's temple is a over-hyped place (may be I am wrong) but I would prefer destinations like 'Bodh Gaya' where Buddha attained enlightenment, 'Sarnath' where He gave first sermon, 'Lumbini & Kushinagar' His birth & death place. As you guys mentioned about Yoga (which you may already know means 'Union with divine'). I am practicing Yoga (meditation) for past 15 years. I would say try out Sahaja Yoga (www.sahajayoga.org). It's centre's are in more than 150 countries worldwide, so no compulsion of staying in India. It's completely free to begin with, just give it a try. It's easy, gels well with modern work style & you don't have to become ascetic.

Please stop using yellow tint. It makes your vlog look all yellow and we cant experience the true Colors of indian cities and nature of course. Im sure this little improvement will get you extra thousand views.
It depends on the settings on the device you're watching from! We've got two different laptops, two different phones and it looks absolutely normal on all 4 devices. UA-cam has a tendency to make footage look very pink so we're very glad you see more yellow than the unnatural pink and washed out colours you sometimes see on UA-cam. We don't use yellow tint on our videos. It also depends on what time of the day you film. we filmed this video in the afternoon when the colours are more golden . No one has ever complained about our colours before. Thanks for watching but we're sticking to noir colours 😊
Yes there was way more developed and dirty than we expected, which was sad. That's what happens with mass tourism. We felt international tourist were very responsible with their rubbish but domestic tourists don't seem to care. It's a shame. 😐

You have to live in bhagsu to catch hold of all the peaceful vibes of macleodganj, staying in macleodganj itself is not very great as it is too crowded and commercialized, but if u go bhagsu or dharamkot u will get much cheaper rooms if u negotiate well and food will also be matching ur tastebuds and the vibes are just too peaceful and u wont just wanna leave that place✌️✌️ happy travelling and u r a great channel🙌

At the weekend you could hardly walk the streets of McLeod Ganj. There were so many people and so many cars we had to escape up to Dharamkot.
We are 6and half million in himachal

Dalai Lama's temple is a over-hyped place (may be I am wrong) but I would prefer destinations like 'Bodh Gaya' where Buddha attained enlightenment, 'Sarnath' where He gave first sermon, 'Lumbini & Kushinagar' His birth & death place.
As you guys mentioned about Yoga (which you may already know means 'Union with divine'). I am practicing Yoga (meditation) for past 15 years. I would say try out Sahaja Yoga (www.sahajayoga.org). It's centre's are in more than 150 countries worldwide, so no compulsion of staying in India. It's completely free to begin with, just give it a try. It's easy, gels well with modern work style & you don't have to become ascetic.
Yes it's definitely hyped but we see why people want to visit. We were in Varanasi but at that time we didn't realise that the Bodh Gaya is right there so we missed out.

Please stop using yellow tint. It makes your vlog look all yellow and we cant experience the true Colors of indian cities and nature of course. Im sure this little improvement will get you extra thousand views.
It depends on the settings on the device you're watching from! We've got two different laptops, two different phones and it looks absolutely normal on all 4 devices. UA-cam has a tendency to make footage look very pink so we're very glad you see more yellow than the unnatural pink and washed out colours you sometimes see on UA-cam. We don't use yellow tint on our videos. It also depends on what time of the day you film. we filmed this video in the afternoon when the colours are more golden .
No one has ever complained about our colours before.

Yes there was way more developed and dirty than we expected, which was sad. That's what happens with mass tourism. We felt international tourist were very responsible with their rubbish but domestic tourists don't seem to care. It's a shame. 😐
