As a Tibetan refugee born in India, dream of returning to homeland is always strong. Just to let you know, State of Karnataka has largest Tibetan settlements in India. Enjoy rest of your incredible India trip.
Nice vlog. Yes, it is a sad story of Tibet. India is very proud to help Dalai lama stay in India and help in preserving their tradition. We respect their tradition as well and he is most revered here.
Another excellent vlog! I would also recommend going to Naddi Hill, where Dal Lake is. You can actually walk through the forest from Naddi Hill back to Dharamkot then down to McLeod Ganj. There is a well marked trail that leads you through the forest. There are monks that live in the forest in little huts. ALSO there is a cute little "town" of about 300 called Barnet which is up near Naddi Hill. I have not eaten at Jimmys but McLeo Restaurant on the square in McLeod Ganj has fantastic Indian and a nice rooftop section with nice views. I agree with you that this area is a MUST if you are in India.
Ah that's so amazing! I hope to go back to Tushita for a a course later this year. Fingers crossed I get to see him, this reminds me to look into dates to see when he's around!
@@TheWanderingQuinn I would do Vipassana at Dharamsala if i were you. It is right next to Tushita, on border of Dharamkot and Dharamsala. It is 10 days also, much more intense but i felt much more rewarding. Tushita is like Vipassana "light"
Now that's what I call a vlog you are really really really good at vlogging and at the same time giving like so much information about each and every thing. I really appreciate your efforts and best of luck to you my friend 🙏😊 . Have a nice and happy life....

These tablets were recommended by my doctor when I traveled and encountered traveller's problem - food poisoning and running stomach. 'Bifilac' ( for killing bacteria due to food poisoning) 'Redottil' (for stopping running stomach) Though you should consult a doctor before medication, it would be good to know the names.
you dint mention Buddhist Tibetans were given refuge by Indian govt. after China invaded Tibet. Tibet govt. in exile is run from Dharamshala. Probably if you mention, you won't get Chinese visa? if so, then you are excused.

No you're not.

I would still get a visa. I just didn't want to go into the history too much as I would have ended up talking so much but thank you.
after 1949 Dalai lama shifted to India so china tried invading india also and captured some of Himalayan places. i hope my story is right😕
Yes he came to India around then and it wouldn't surprise me if China did try and get to India!
Entire credit goes to Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru who helped them
That's good!
free tibet!
Yess!
