- Good Evening ladies and gents. This originally was going to be a journey from system to system. Any
"journey" video I have normally consists of that. But after I chose the music and posted the preview, it started to look more and more like an intro. So, that's what I ended up making. TOS intro #4. So far I've made 3 TOS intros and 1 TMP intro. Not exactly an intro for Season 4, as I wanted to make the Phase II Enterprise and use that as a season 4 intro. (But honestly if you guys think this one could be "season 4"...I'm all for it lol).
This time, I added more names. I felt they should get proper credit. Originally, I was going to have 3 ships jump to warp at the end after the Enterprise jumped. But the scene went so fast, I couldn't get the ships over from the HQ fast enough to make it look believable. So I just left them around HQ and/or just doing their own thing. (I'm still working on making orbital traffic and far away planetary traffic...still have no idea how to do that honestly. Besides using particles or something).
Also....yes, after the first jump, this IS a TOS construction vessel. I create it based of the construction vessel in ST: Armada. Not sure if you can see it, but I named it U.S.S. Hoshi. NCC-0198. Seeing this vessel was repairing and/or constructing a comm relay. (Hopefully you see the connection lol). The registry was part of her Starfleet serial number. I might make some vids with some construction ships actually making relays and/or stations in the future.

Love new, original scenes with TOS Enterprise! Too many others re-creating the same scenes from the same angles over and over again.. scenes and angles we've ALREADY viewed millions of times in movies and tv. This was refreshing!

I can see what you mean, but in a way, the TNG theme is a TOS theme, as it was used in TMP first before TNG. But, I know what you mean. I just thought it'd be funny to nitpick lol

Great looking video. My only gripe is spacecraft have no need to Bank left or right. There’s no air in space so banking is pointless. Apart from that it’s awesome and I will watch it over and over. 🙂

The visuals are very excellent. But, it looks like the Enterprise is being flown like a fighter plane. And it's not necessary for it to do bank turns.

Interesting use of old FASA ship designs, but I'd of stuck with Alexander Courage's musical theme, you can't beat a classic.
Love it. More-so how you use the TOS warp speed sound effect on top of your CGI.
I’m curious about a phase 2 Intro with the Phase 2 Enterprise. Maybe that’s season 5 or 4.5.
What software do you use for your 3D animations?
I create the vessels in Blender 2.79. Then I move them over to After Effects with Element 3D from Video Copilot. I use a lot of Video Copilot effects.

There are those pesky, non-canon glowing blue nacelles on the TOS Enterprise yet again. With the addition of I.D. lighting from the motion picture era. Let’s give the old TOS Enterprise 3 nacelles while we’re at it. I mean, why not?
