Please don´t joke with traumas. Is insulting. The story literally tells a child who was separated from a "friend" or someone special (not told), but not abducted, just he miss him, or her, and if he had a huge trauma would never talked like this, would be so freaking dark and more heartbreaking than you say. I know about huge traumas, and this song is more romantic than something trully bad. Also, if you are aware of what art works, art pieces are ambiguous, never so literally. Also if you analise the tone of the vocals, is so sweet and melancolic that it tells nothing about a huge trauma. Is more than the other songs from him, romantic songs, that´s what he allways do. If you wanna hear something about suffering a trauma, hear "hurt" from Nine inch nails, or a lot of songs from him, because he´s specialised in showing pain and telling truths about real traumas. Also he use arpeggios, so the song is too much "candy unicorn". Maybe if it were from Nirvana would have sarcasm, or if it were from Dolores from Cranberries could think about that, like ode to my family. Also in this years, is kinda tabu, also prohibited by companies to mess with this things, because they only want money, and pain is only for strong people who can handle. His songs are too much sweet for be like this and would be out context.

yes, and he tells, "im ok", a child abducted since 6 years old, would never say that. Because would be so traumatised he would never say so absurd comment like nothing happens. Please don´t joke with traumas. Is insulting. The story literally tells a child who was separated from a "friend" or someone special (not told), but not abducted, just he miss him, or her, and if he had a huge trauma would never talked like this, would be so freaking dark and more heartbreaking than you say. I know about huge traumas, and this song is more romantic than something trully bad. Also, if you are aware of what art works, art pieces are ambiguous, never so literally. Also if you analise the tone of the vocals, is so sweet and melancolic that it tells nothing about a huge trauma. Is more than the other songs from him, romantic songs, that´s what he allways do. If you wanna hear something about suffering a trauma, hear "hurt" from Nine inch nails, or a lot of songs from him, because he´s specialised in showing pain and telling truths about real traumas. Also he use arpeggios, so the song is too much "candy unicorn". Maybe if it were from Nirvana would have sarcasm, or if it were from Dolores from Cranberries could think about that, like ode to my family.
Also in this years, is kinda tabu, also prohibited by companies to mess with this things, because they only want money, and pain is only for strong people who can handle. His songs are too much sweet for be like this and would be out context.
