I don't know what the people in these comments are tripping about. Jesse's points of criticism are completely valid. I am thrilled that they came back and rallied after that horrible missed call by the referees. But it's perfectly valid to point out the fact that this team still struggles with starting on time, and they did it against an opponent that frankly they should have dominated. I believe the avalanche have the most comeback wins of any team again so far this year. It would be nice for them to get a lead even if it's a one goal lead and just clamp down on the game and hold it. They are capable of it.
Have ALWAYS loved Bedsy but MAD respect for him standing up not only for the team but ALL players. The player safety doesnt care about players so whats their point in existing. Seems like now the best way to stop a play due to a serious injury is taking your helmet/mask off.
There is no team on planet Earth that will play consistently superior hockey for 60 minutes a night, 82 games a season, against other professionals. Media coverage picking apart and amplifying every tiny quibble every single night makes watching, analyzing, and discussing sports completely joyless. It's fine to mention them under performing a little bit, but the majority of the conversation for a game like this should have been talking about the fire and unity with which the team played to finish the game, and what it says about a locker room that is starting to come together. The overwhelming response to this game from the fanbase was "WOW, what a gritty, resilient win from the guys after their goalie goes down! This team is starting to play with that *special something* that turns a good team into a contender!", meanwhile what I've seen from several Avalanche reporters is the same old "Why can't they play a full 60 every night!?" point, and glossing over the legitimately special thing they accomplished. And I want to stress that I LOVE your coverage usually, I just think you might be a little to hyperfocused on every tiny misstep right now
Literally all of the points that he made are completely valid. I love this team and I think they're a great team, but it is far too late in the season for them to still not be starting games on time. Particularly against a buffalo team that up until the last three games stretch, went winless in like 13 games. This isn't the media hyper focusing on the mistakes lol. And newsflash, it is part of the media's job to break down the game and part of breaking down the game is pointing out mistakes.
17:30 love the drouin convo
The game with the Matt Calvert incident was over 5 years ago (November 2019).

Was that Jesse laughing at "I don't give a shit"? 😂

@@LA-ly9mqEven Toews said last night that he is somewhat disappointed that it came to that for them to dig deep and win. (Not the exact words)
It’s an 82 game schedule. Don’t sensationalize when teams are performing a bit under expectations against an NHL team
