At long last, the next arc to the ScareFace1098 FNF Cover series has been revealed: The Five Nights at Frenni's arc! (Or just the Frenni's arc.) Last time in the series, we had Mag recover from his delusions thanks to Miranda defeating him, and now through unexplained circumstances he entered a portal that led to Frenni's pizzeria, which now leads us to the first episode/cover of the new arc. We can already notice the change in direction the art and story will take. For starters there are now cutscenes being implemented to the covers, allowing more leeway to progress each arc's story. Another thing is the art, with the new use of Gacha life (which I still can't believe that it's being implemented to the lore now), it makes it feel like how Week 6 felt in the original FNF, that being a breath of fresh air and a new way to give each arc its distinctive own style (like how most of the noncovers' art being made by people that aren't ScareFace1098). For the Lore: Referencing the events of the last arc, the portal Mag ends up in sends him to the Office of Frenni's pizzeria, which changes him to become part human in the process. Since Mag already wants to find a way to escape and not draw any suspicion to himself, Mag proclaims himself as the restaurant's night guard and convinces Willow (this universe's Purple Guy) that he came to work there. Despite the fact he's covered in blood and has real bunny ears, he gets hired and no one even questions this, which could imply how desperate Frenni's pizzeria is to hire someone for $3 an hour. After getting hired with no effort and no questioning, he takes a tour with Willow and sees the other Frenni characters which include: Frenni as this universe's Freddy, Bonfie as Bonnie, Chiku as Chica, Fexa as Foxy, and Willow as William Afton (We have no real clue what Mangle and Golden Frenni's real names are). For an unknown reason, Mag is deemed not trusted by all the animatronics and warn that he might be like the others. I suspect that we will have a reasoning for their hesitation towards the nightguards somewhere between the middle and the end of the arc, but from this alone it shows that they might've had bad experiences with them. Continuing On (Lore Pt. 2): Bonfie offers to go check on Mag to see whether or not he can be trusted while the others are reluctant to let her go alone, eventually they trust Bonfie enough to go alone. The interaction between Bonfie and the others already shows that she's the little sister of the Frenni's crew, probably along side the Mangle (In a previous teaser where Mag said one of the animatronics was scared of the dark, it might've been Bonfie). Bonfie enters the Office, which accidentally wakes up and startles Mag in the process, casuing him to fall. Before Bonfie could help him out, Mag rejects the help due to not trusting her enough, worried she might kill him. In order to gain the trust of Mag, Bonfie accepts a rap battle from Mag, although in this universe they call it a "sing off" (which in this context makes more sense). Mag doubts Bonfie multiple times during the Malediction cover, but eventually the both of them seem to trust each other by the end of Mag's night shift. With 6 AM becoming present, Mag heads somewhere away from Frenni's for the time being while Bonfie tells the others Mag can be trusted. For the Music (3:01): As usual in ScareFace1098 fashion, this was yet another fantastic song composed by him. Something about an eerie instrumental paired with Mag's dreadful sounding voice and Bonfie's soft spoken voice makes this have a weird tension to it, especially with Mag getting enraged in the middle of it. Mag's voice lines in the middle of the song were mind-blowingly phenomenal, especially since the last time we heard him was on the You Can't Run cover, making the Malediction cover more special. For the art, I like how this cover changes images as the song progresses and conveys the character's emotions, still images are better for the other covers because the art from them work more as album covers. Since this is a part of a much more proportionate story, the characters moving actually works here. I was worried that I might stare at a plain Gacha screen for the entire duration, but you saved it. For this to be a Sonic.exe cover is somewhat fitting because for a while, the Sonic.exe arc has become a main signification on the progress of this channel while having many good covers and art up to date. With this new transition of a new arc, starting it off with a Sonic.exe cover seems to be a perfect send off to the older covers. With the end of this analysis, I can safely say that this was an amazing introduction to the new arc. Though it does have its issues (I'm not naming them since I said it before) you will without a doubt improve when you keep making these. Upon watching this for the first time I almost cringed, but quickly got used to it and now respect it for having actual effort. The Lads Mix Being changed to FNC Mix is a bright sign that this new arc will be something amazing (Even though I have no idea what FNC stand for yet). With this I deem the first arc cover a 10/10, but i'm curious on how you came up with the names for the characters, they sound like Square Enix character names. Also teach me the voice filter you used, it's awesome.
