Tactically this is a horrible shootout, but visually and stylishly it’s badass. The duel wielding and the headshot with the shotgun was cool.

Very generous of those heavily armed gangsters to launch disorganized piecemeal attacks while shooting wildly and primal screaming. Surely they knew they could have had one guy lay suppressing fire while the rest simply rushed the bar. For whatever reason, they opted out of it.

These are mobsters. One thing I’ve noticed about mob movies be it “GoodFellas” “The Sopranos” “the Wire” etc…. Is that mobsters are terrible at tactics and weapons handling. Hell, most of them are use to just swinging baseball bats and getting in to brawls or torching someone in a chair who has a debt to pay. What would they know about weapons and tactics. This was also 2009…. There wasn’t Hickok45 or Garand Thumb to watch on UA-cam for references.
