"Dragonaut" from Sleep's "Sleep's Holy Mountain" album (1992).
Definitely not happy with the tone, but I really didn't feel like spending even more hours on just the tone. It sounded pretty close in solo mode, but it didn't cut through the song as it should've. More treble helped a bit, but that also meant that it would sound more harsh. Anyway, it was pretty fun to play. Tempo changes all over the place which is always a joy. The outro is basically just one big bass solo.

This is so fun to play. I need to play around with this tuning more. I got the nastiest tone out of it with just the distortion on my amp, a cheap-o guitar Blues Driver pedal and some fret buzz.

Si tendría que dar mi opinión sobre el tono del bajo déjame decirte Leo que en ciertos aspectos es muchísimo mejor que el original pero en otros la verdad se podrían mejorar pero agradezco es el esfuerzo y el buen trabajo que debió ser la tocar la canción

What gauge strings are you using for the c tuning ? What effects are you using to mimic ALs tone?
If I would've played it on a 4 string, I probably would've gone for something thick like .120/125 as the lowest string. With a 5 string, you can basically put a capo on the 1st fret and you're in standard C anyway.

Your tone is almost perfect all you needee was an envelope or wah pedal. Look into the bass balls by electro harmonix if you want to go for this sound, it's awesome

It won't sound the same lol. Drop C is 2 steps down from E. The song relies on being deep and doomy

All digital effects. I think I used a lot of them, but I can't quite remember anymore.

I think I used quite a lot of distortion + auto wah effect. The original probably also has some fuzz and maybe flanger? not sure to be honest..
@@LeoBassCovers2 Al uses two signals, one with an over drive pedal and one clean. I think he also uses a wah in this song
