anything with a 6 punder is so good with britain low tier. the crusaders and cromwells are great as well as the sarcs (especially the 6pounder variant.) the only thing britain lacks at this tier is a reverse gear for the tracked vehicles. and also he rounds
As always, it's quite refreshing to see someone playing SPAA correctly. Absolutely hate locking a guy with my M163, seeing he's still over 3 km away and still have stupid teammates shooting at him, meaning that I not only have to reposition (since the stupid teammate in question is almost always near me) but the plane is now gonna be extra careful as well.
I must say I probably enjoyed the British 1st rank the most out of all nations. Sure, Britain have some disadvantages as a tech tree, but 1st and 2nd rank is easily right at the top, imo. A lot of really solid and fun to play vehicles. Also enjoyed the video:) Your commentary is the main thing anyway, you don't have to put loads of memes in during edit.
got into Britain by playing the Matilda Hedgehog and that thing carried me through good part of the low rank British line which was fun. getting a few other tanks with the lineup and some planes help as well.
Britain has loads of fun vehicles in low tier. I'm excited to see you play the Valentines/Matildas and the more advanced SARCs, they're all great fun. Inconsistent, but fun. My only strong recommendation: do NOT shorten your life by trying to play the Archer or Churchill Gun Carrier. If you don't have a substance abuse problem I promise you will after that.
I’ve used the Archer before and it was easily the most frustrating experience I’ve had so far…lack of game knowledge at the time definitely made things worse 🤣
Britain had a super nice 3.0 lineup with the 57mm (6 pounder) cannons. The short 75mm cannons are objectively the worst in the game. Low velocity, low pen and virtually no damage. Also when France came to the game solid AP received a massive buff in terms of post pen damage. Simulating it's historical damage properties. However, solid AP has been nerfed multiple times since then and is nearly as bad as when the UK tech tree was introduced. As it currently stands solid AP dramatically under performs and aphe vastly over performs compared to historical events. Just gaijin things
@@chimney0644 like I said it dramatically under performs . For a game inspired and based on historical accuracies its rather bad. The 6 pounder spalling frequently does more damage than the 17 pounder. Even though the 17 is higher velocity and greater mass. Sometimes you can crew snipe and the shell will hit a crew man and not knock him out. Same goes for aphe. Sometimes 150g of HE on say the USA 90mm will not knock out the entire crew despite detonating in the crew compartment. But the German 75s with 17g will knock out the entire Sherman crew . And I know the post tnt equivalent. Either way it's all super inconsistent . I blame volumetric for being a buggy mess but that's a dif discussion entirely. The bottom line still stands that AP under performs intentionally
rare footage of british having APHE
"I'm a revenge-driven idiot". Don't worry, we all are.
Love the honesty and the commentary.
6:55 if his breach is out he can't shoot
That M8 driver has a very hard head.
ahhh yes Britain, a true masochists tech-tree
I've been also playing Britain low tier. Almost got the valentine
I would recommend doing big flanks in the diamler and the tetrarch, they are really good at that 😁
someone is finally playing the daimler
I actually really like the little thing
@@GibbyGav always liked to play it, but only having solid shot hurts (besides me having a skill issue)

Britain gets really good at 2.7-3.3 with Cromwell, Valentine, Matilda. Most enemies dont know where to shoot and these tanks are volumetric hell
Can't wait for you to get your hands on the Churchill GC 😁

The Archer is very difficult to get the hang of, especially for new players, but it's got ridiculously good firepower at that BR.
Best nation in the game.
If any of the tanks had reverse gears yea lol
I’m a British main, you should grind to the fox. But I haven’t played in a while so idk if it got nerfed
It was moved to 7.7 but it hasn't been nerfed really. Britain barely has any 7.0 vehicles so 7.7 was where it was used most anyway.
@@b.c.2281 yeah I knew that, so they didn’t change it after meaning it’s still so good
Have u tryed sim
Hey gav. Do you accept in game friend requests? I might sent you one.
Why do you have ap and aphe? Like ap dosent do too much damige
I noticed that APHE had less pen so was just in case I was struggling to pen something with APHE. Meant I at least had the option to try AP

Ap is good, you just need to aim correctly on your first shot

hey gib i got the is3
Don't be too hard on yourself. I've seen much worse players with 5x the amount of hours played as you.
Did someone call my name? 👋🏼
