bei minute 4:32 feht etwas erst rechts und links vom reissverschluß 2 stofflagen zusammen nähen.

Also das ist wirklich verwirrend. Wenn man keine Erfahrung hat mit dem Nähen bekommt man es nicht hin.Warum wurde es weggelassen?

Yes, the coins could potentially slide into the top flap. To prevent that, you could stitch across the bottom of the zippered section.
