It didn’t keep the NPP function it kept the AFM function. You have two sets of valves, one is NPP one is AFM. If you watch till the end there aren’t valves at the tips anymore, and those are the NPP valves
Looks like the NPP(AFM) function was on the main exhaust pipe. Not on one of the "Y" pipe which had the two end tips joined together as one pipe. Would it no close off the main pipe when you close the valve? The NNP(AFM) mounted on two tips to close two pipes not all four pipes. November 22,2023 LOL
There are two sets of valves, one set is the AFM valves which are the ones over the axle, and then you have NPP valves at the tips. This retained AFM which you should disable anyway, but didn’t maintain NPP
Great Video! I was trying to do a muffler delete as well, but what about the 2 exhaust sensors/valves that are connected between the tips and the muffler. By removing those, does a check engine light come on? By keeping them on, is the car "less loud"?
Kevin Nijjar removing them won’t make a light come on, also I don’t think we could fit them back with the way we have to bend the pipes and this was what he wanted in the end just a loud car. Also I think it has cut outs up farther on the exhaust to compensate for the other modes on the car. The race mode made it completely straight piped besides the cats if I remember right
@@jackfabrication Yeah my thoughts exactly about the space problem. I was going to remove the stock x pipe which has 2 cats on it, mufflers, tips and sensors. Replacing with a corsa x pipe, tips, and custom straight pipe like yours. My neighbors will for sure hate me though lol. I had read that if you dont reinstall the "exhaust sensor valves" that the computer will still try to retrieve data from them. Realizing that they're not there leads to a check engine light, making smogging the car a problem in the future?
Kevin Nijjar very nice, and just removing the very rear ones didn’t cause any problems. We completely removed an tied the wires up as high as we could tuck away but yes it’s tight in there
@@jackfabrication Oh man that is a huge relief, I was thinking of not doing the muffler delete do the worries of a check engine light. Man now i cant even wait to get this exhaust re done.I was planning on getting new tips that have a 3" inlet and 4.5" outlet. Do you think any muffler shops might have a problem with this install? i believe the existing pipe is a 2.5"?
Kevin Nijjar man send it! I think you should be fine to have some where do it. They should be able to bump all those ends up with a machine, They just might be weird and try to sell you something else that “Fits”. That’s where we are different we try to make it as custom as we can to meet the customers wants/needs!
Hard to find shops that will do the muffler delete this way in my area. Most shops want to remove rear bumper and sell me new tips. Hopefully I can find a shop to do it this way.
Grizzly thanks for the feedback! That kinda sucks... We do what the customer wants and always make it happen! If you ever find yourself in Minnesota, we got you covered!
Never seen a muffler delete that retains NPP function. That's pretty cool!
It didn’t keep the NPP function it kept the AFM function.

Making it look easy . thanks guys !
I always surprise my wife with the straight pipes.
holy shit

I want to get this done. Looks clean and on a budget. But my local muffler shop say they can’t do it it’s too complicated. I’ll just find another one.
The valves still open & close???
yes!

Chills/Wayne Smith those are great I suggest them but most people don’t want to spend nearly $700 for an axle back exhaust plus labor
How many time it take? thanks
How much was this job ?
Did you get a check engine light
We kept the sensors ziptied up under the car and plugged them in so there were no lights if I remember right lol.
@@jackfabrication oh ight bro thxs but the active exhaust would not work doe right?
