I don't believe it was suicide (covering up). And those responsible for bullying, etc, have got away with their evil behavior. I hope all those that were in any way involved, live the rest of your miserable lives in shame and guilt. Absolutely disgusting. My sincere sorrow for all who have suffered.
I don't know if if things have changed n the army for the worse but I spent sometime at deepcut barracks training as a clerk RE, admittedly women served in the wrac but there was a block for them at the barracks, I was 18 then in the 70s but I didnt ever go on guard duty a magazine of live rounds on my personal weapon it seems quite dangerous for recruits and civilians Admittedly I was only in the army for 7 years, And the first time I had a loaded weapon was in Ireland which was active service, I don't understand why they were still handing out loaded weapons to recruits on guard duty after the first incident of a soldier being killed on guard duty.
I was there with Cheryl and Benton in 95
there's a certain sgt who caused it all
