Reminds me of people who can afford life coaches thinking that they need life coaches...even though if they can afford one, they're probably doing okay. I work with fucked people with substance misuse disorders and they struggle to afford their poisons--let alone fly somewhere for a fucking concert.
Hey I feel you I’ve got 6 1/2 years sober 25 plus years drug addict . I feel pretty numb a lot if the time too except when I heard the song reminders for the first time (first song from TA -I heard screaming females were touring with them in SF but it was already sold out ) and I just started crying . Musuc helps me feel emotions and carries me through so much shit when nothing else will. Stay gold,stay sober it gets better even when it seems hopeless ,I know . Check out therapy too I just started myself .

right!? that shit came out of NOWHERE, but when i first heard the lament singles, i thought they had a similar sound to whale belly and gravity, metaphorically in a way.
Great great, always awesome to see and hear these nice fellas. I'm getting this feeling we would appreciate a slightly bigger sound for their live performances? Another guitarist for live shows? Wish it would sound a bit thicker.

Your music has meant so much to me through the years. Each consecutive album has become my new favorite in the discography. I just wanted to express my appreciation for bearing your heart out for all of us. It helps to hear lyrics that, while hard to confront, are relatable. It gives me the feeling that I'm not alone in my grief. When Parting the Sea came out I had recently lost a cousin that was like a brother to me. Unfortunately, I recently lost my other cousin, his brother, that I had grown very close to in the years following. Stage four and Lament have been giving me what comfort can be found in these tough times of raw grief. I have loved seeing you guys live many times and hope to see you again. The energy at the live shows are a sight to behold. Thank you to everyone that has contributed to this band through the years. My life would have been a lot harder without you all.
