I don't care what your opinion is, but this egg hunt is the best in terms of quality. I personally think that this event shaped my urge to make games on roblox. Half of the games on roblox were small tycoons at the time with not a whole lot of cool effort. When I played this, I saw that it had the same kind of quality that other nintendo games I played had. That shocked me. I think the addition of randomly spawning eggs is fine because most hunt games have random collectables in spots without many quests. It makes it so worse players could easily get some kind of egg and feel involved too. The fact that it had an actual OST along with it made a lot of areas feel cooler and some of the songs are actually listenable outside of the game. "Do You Even Carrot All" "Egg Buns Only" "Lab Rat" "Tribe Tribe Revolution" were some of my favorites. What I left out from my list above is HARDBOILED CITY. Literally everything about this area just makes my game design heart skip a beat. The way there's small towns that showcase the power dynamic and the detective like quests is just sooooo cool. AND THE MUSIC! I think the music here is the best, it just fits such a cool ass vibe man. "Femme Fatale" is easily the best track in the OST. (you cannot argue this just go to the youtube videos comments for proof of this claim.) The sheer mass of The Undernest when you first played it was so insane to see the scale to show that the problem is became a huge nest full of all this weird end feeling. The lore is also pretty frickin amazing with some actual story elements, The Egg of Origin is literally you going back in time to get the egg that booker was searching for. So you basically started all of the events for this game! Who would have thought we would miss the 2018 egg hunt so much, my favorite egg hunt. And the detail that the eggs were already beginning to be cute accessories for the head made it better for me, they were not only eggs and I liked that, several ways to get them were beautiful, it was neither very frustrating nor very boring. I understand that it is an egg hunt so we search eggs, but the detail and soul that was put into each of the eggs is, for me, very good. Obviously, this egg hunt is not perfect, but its very very good
The Hog Rider card is unlocked from the Spell Valley (Arena 5). He is a very fast building-targeting, melee troop with moderately high hitpoints and damage. He appears just like his Clash of Clans counterpart; a man with brown eyebrows, a beard, a mohawk, and a golden body piercing in his left ear who is riding a hog. A Hog Rider card costs 4 Elixir to deploy. Strategy His fast move speed can boost forward mini tanks like an Ice Golem in a push. At the same time, he can also function as a tank.
I think this video goes over the pros and cons of this egg hunt really well, although I do disagree that the multiple world eggs were a con, I do see where you are coming from and it does help me realise how those eggs could be tedious. Can't wait for more cool videos like these! :D
I really liked the editing within that video. I like how your transitioning images/footage in and out with motion as opposed to just abruptly cutting. Also, the way that the graphics moves when appearing on/off the view of the screen is really nice. Although, I will say this: I wish you went more in-depth with some of the worlds. And whenever you praised/critiqued something, I noticed that there were moments where you just said "It's good" or "It's bad" to an aspect of the egg hunt. Make sure to not to do this in the future. Be sure to always say why you like/dislike something, no matter how mundane your reasoning behind your opinion is.
Many of the eggs that don't look like eggs from this event kind of look decent. In egg hunt 2019 and 2020, they just did circle objects with ugly meshes and called the eggs. Also, with 2017 and 2018 egg hunts the eggs all had a theme with each other (or connected in some way). In dev hunts, most eggs are unrelated to each other are feel just random.
i remember playing the egg hunt. i liked it but i never played much of it because i knew some stuff would be annoying to do in that egg hunt. even if i did try to get more eggs i would lose the account anyways because i was like 10 when the egg hunt was happening
egg hunt 2018 is greatest event i ever play. Kinda sad for me that i didn't get fifteam egg and stained glass egg all because i'm so dumb english and join late event :(( but still good game
