depends on ur niche really. for ex Pinterest is good for moms women etc TikTok can be good for gen z audience etc.

Really love your videos and they have a lot of logic. But I still struggle to apply them. For example,I sell printables - greeting cards,planners and journals. I found this type of product to be very hard to market and create a following on social media around them. I don't want to be boring and talk all the time about the same product. And you can't really create much different content around a greeting card,right? Or maybe I just don't see how🤷♀️
Also I struggle with my target audience - I mean,greeting card and planners are something everyone needs...so I cannot imagine my perfect customer. And that's why I struggle🤷♀️
Hey! A few thoughts: its not really the product thats hard to market - ive seen heaps of journals and planners being marketed and likely starting a business with these products myself. its finding the right angle/content/talking points thru research etc
& you really shouldnt be talking about your product in your videos much anyways. it should be about creating content/ad materials that help your audience rather than sell your product. perhaps if you look at it from that angle it'll be easier to see the how.
and youre right. not having an ideal customer is def an issue. thatd make it virtually impossible to make consistent sales. def figure out that. if youre selling to everyone, you're selling to no one

@ OpaqueEscape I have started with painting tutorials but I also want to help artists gain more time freedom and financial independence
first thing i noticed is you have good thumbnails in terms of design but you need to A/B test different variations or youll keep getting the same results
also id vary the format of videos by looking at other inspo pages and seeing whats working for them and putting your own spin on it
so yes in conclusion - better video ideas + A/B test variation of thumbnails

Firstly, if you feel social media marketing requires consistent content creation, then that is YOUR reality. Hence why i say 'speak for yourself' bc The way I make (and teach) content is literally ur definition. ive made content years ago in niches i dont even make content in anymore and still get paid from it. aka it continues to work for me. We're living in two different realities.
Secondly, Your definition seems very off. You said 'passive income comes from selling a service with recurring payments. The definition of "service" is "the *action* of helping or doing work for someone." (Oxford dictionary). Action meaning the exact opposite of passive... Recurring payments does not equal passive income. In addition, any service you sell to people that they repeatedly pay you for requires upkeep of that service. So your definition is fundamentally flawed which is why i said 'check your dictionary'.
Finally, my definition - which comes from the Corporate Finance Institute - is as follows "Passive income is any money earned in a manner that does not require too much effort. There are several passive income generating ideas that require a lot of work, to begin with, like developing a blog or leasing property, but eventually, they earn money even when the owner is asleep."
In conclusion, I've made well over 6 figures in passive income, I'll stick to my definition and you can stick to yours. 🙂
