Met Shelly Fabares Here In Mobile, Alabama. She was speaking on Alzheimer’s. I talked with her after she finished. She was Lovely. I enjoyed talking with her. I wish her much Happiness.
When I look around and see what young girls are doing to themselves in today's world i find it quite sad. Tattoos, piercings, multicolored hair, clothing that looks like it came from the trash bin and last of all, filthy mouths that would make a saulor blush. I'm thankful I grew up in a world of Shelly Fabares. Class, beauty, dignity, grace and sweetness . Unlike the nastiness that surrounds us today.
It's a beautiful song originally from the musical High Society it was done as a duet by Bing Crosby and Grace Kelly. I'm sure other people recorded it but the only hit I know of is a sing by Bing Crosby sans Grace Kelly. Patsy Cline did it on an album but it was never released as a single but it's a lovely version. I didn't know about George Harrison I'll have to give it a listen.
