And then there were only ashes. Hearing this album with commentaries gave a whole different perspective to every song. 20 years later, and you're still drawing out those tears, Moby.
Magnificent! Because the original is so 'Extreme', I would never have thought that this would work, but it does. So emotional and powerful. The beautiful violins just rip my heart out. Can you imagine this in a Country and Western movie?
I never thought I would love this version more than the original, but I do. Moby is one of those artists that has always got an amazing way to reach out to my soul, I feel the melody, his voice and lyrics running throout my veins. It is simply marvelous!!!! I also love how deepper his voice sounds here.
When you've listened to Moby in your youth and grown with it, it is like a familiar and very comforting experience to revitalising all that beautiful music.
aw, man, I can imagine another Bourne movie , one where he actually dies in the end, like in Wolverine did. And he finally finds his peace after all these while...And this song comes up in the end..and the audience sobs silently...
Funny part is that all those strings were in there the whole time, which is why Moby is the man. His vocal is haunting, no other word for it. Awesome...😑
It´s a sign of a true music master when one can orchestrate an EDM song. The same goes for Above & Beyond, I highly recommend their "Acoustic" albums. Loving this, Moby, loving!
Your music meant so much to me as a young 20 something year old human rights activist. Reading your essays from Play started me on the path of animal rights activist. 44 and still going strong. I'm forever grateful to you. These new versions are beautiful.
Human right activist? I hope you really do your job in Africa and in muslim countries as women have no rights over there. I hope you are planning to go to China too because of the muslim minority is being imprisoned in Xingjang province. I hope you dont live in the US or in Europe as people can practice their human rights here. If you are a vegan human rights activist with two mothers or two fathers, who stands up against racism, please stop trolling on this site! You are not an activist, you are a fucking millennial!
Im hearing the all album... Its fantastic! As a musician you’re incredible one of the best in world! But I have to say... My favorits songs are those ones where I can here your voice. Thank you for this album Moby, you are a King! 👑✨
Extreme ways are back again Extreme places I didn't know I broke everything new again Everything that I'd owned I threw it out the windows, came along Extreme ways I know will part the colors of my sea All perfect coloring Extreme ways that held me That help me out late at night Extreme places I had gone but never seen any light Dirty basements, dirty noise Dirty places coming through Extreme ways alone Did you ever like it then? I would stand in line for this There's always room in life for this Oh babe, oh babe Then it fell apart, it fell apart Oh babe, oh babe Then it fell apart, it fell apart Extreme sounds that told me They helped me out every night Well, I didn't have much to say I didn't give up the light I closed my eyes, I closed myself , I closed my world I'll never open up to anything that could hurt me at all I had to close down everything , I had to close down my mind Too many things could cut me , too much could make me blind I've seen so much in so many places So many heartaches, so many faces So many dirty things You couldn't even believe I would stand in line for this There's always room in life for this Oh babe, oh babe Then it fell apart, it fell apart Oh babe, oh babe Then it fell apart, it fell apart What'd you say my name was? Would you say it then? What'd you say my name was? Oh, say it then Well, I know I can't Well, I know I can't Well, I know I can't find, though Oh babe, oh babe Then it fell apart, it fell apart Oh babe, oh babe Then it fell apart, it fell apart Oh babe, oh babe Then it fell apart, it fell apart Oh babe, oh babe Like it always does, always does Always does, always does... (It hurts...)
reminds me so much of Johnny cashes hurt. this is so good. so much emotion. like looking back at extreme ways years older with a very different point of view. so powerful
Extreme ways...I really felt this , before I decided to transform and heal the energies within and around me..Absolutely wonderful to tune into, if feeling at a crossroads in your life. I'm not, but it might help someone. I did all my past years of healing by listening to music of many genres including lots of Moby. To heal especially a broken 💔, I felt it necessary to listen to song words or melodies that took me right through the relationship (that was currently causing me to feel separation from self..fragmented) to the start of it, and ease myself into releasing section by section of the relationship itself until there was nothing left to release...it worked for me in the past tense..and may help someone feeling the same way in this present tense! Music should stir and shake up the soul in order to release any pain from past hurts...but have to be prepared to put the work in, on an inner level to clear that energy...so as to start afresh..Moby your a genius, loved this and thank you 😊 ❤ 🙏
...................................................................Amazing................................ Thanks a million...........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
🤩❤🎶🎤🎶🎹🎶🎻🎶❤👌🤗 Awesome reprise !! Wonderful music, the violins bring a lot of emotion and strength, I love it. 💖 Congratulations and thank you so much , Moby. 💕🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹😊🌹❤
@Moby thank you for this soul-touching version! Also, thank you for the countless times you have made us travel with your music! But I have a small complaint! We haven't seen you in Greece for a loooong time! I hope you will come in 2022!
And then there were only ashes. Hearing this album with commentaries gave a whole different perspective to every song. 20 years later, and you're still drawing out those tears, Moby.
Rage is over, only awareness now. Moby, thanks for my 30s and my 50s
Didn't expect this version of Extreme ways....speechless, what a masterpiece.
Violin, guitar and amazing words ...
I cry. Youht is definetily loose. This song remember what the good we had got but we haven't yet.
my bro.. u make a mastetpiece again...! well done
This version will do a perfect conclusion for Bourne franchise.
They need to release a new film just to play this version
haha, first we will have to ask Moby what he was thinking when he made this beautiful version!
If they were to ever plan a conclusion, there would be a lot of films. After all, there's a total of 16 books at the moment :P
Never end the series, keep going until Matt Damon is 80.
Phantastisch thanks
Painfully beautiful
Magnificent! Because the original is so 'Extreme', I would never have thought that this would work, but it does. So emotional and powerful. The beautiful violins just rip my heart out. Can you imagine this in a Country and Western movie?
This song is so beautiful
Always does, always has. From one who seeks light, my thanks, Mr. Moby.
This is a reflection of today for me, from my more extreme rave days, to a calmer more spiritual place many years later ❤️❤️
Masterpiece....!!!
I never thought I would love this version more than the original, but I do. a lot of emotions in this song and this version makes each one of them so prominent
Moby is the best
Just listened to this and cried. And then put it on repeat for the rest of the day.
So beautiful.
Thank you 🙏🏽
Not sure your tears’ reasons for falling…..but, they can be so very cleansing and liberating……wishing that for you……
@@kimwells2749 Very true. Thank you

Moby is the most intriguing artist of music I have ever heard and heard many of his music. A Unique soul
I think I've heard this song about 20 times today...beautiful version
My Moby Playlist has officially gone over the moon. You are beautiful inside & out.
What an artist...
Funny part is that all those strings were in there the whole time, which is why Moby is the man. His vocal is haunting, no other word for it. Awesome...😑
I didn't hear the lyrics properly until now. It's the best.
from the heart, thank you
This is our reward after having two tough years ✌️✌️✌️✌️
I work in conditions that match these lyrics. I've seen so much sorrow in the world but I try remaining hopeful that one day we will have salvation .
대단해 모비 ~~멋지다~~
YES EXTREME WAYS
Моби , ты как всегда крут !!! Всегда с нетерпением жду твоих творений !!! И слушаю то ,что уже классика... Благодарю !!!
Whether the original, the Bourne films, or this new version--when a song is a classic, it transcends styles.
One more pure diamond 💎
Thank you 💕☺️
From Athens, Greece!!!!🤘

Extreme ways are back again
Extreme places I didn't know
I broke everything new again
Everything that I'd owned
I threw it out the windows, came along
Extreme ways I know will part
the colors of my sea
All perfect coloring
Extreme ways that held me
That help me out late at night
Extreme places I had gone
but never seen any light
Dirty basements, dirty noise
Dirty places coming through
Extreme ways alone
Did you ever like it then?
I would stand in line for this
There's always room in life for this
Oh babe, oh babe
Then it fell apart, it fell apart
Oh babe, oh babe
Then it fell apart, it fell apart
Extreme sounds that told me
They helped me out every night
Well, I didn't have much to say
I didn't give up the light
I closed my eyes, I closed myself
, I closed my world
I'll never open up to anything
that could hurt me at all
I had to close down everything
,
I had to close down my mind
Too many things could cut me
, too much could make me blind
I've seen so much in so many places
So many heartaches, so many faces
So many dirty things
You couldn't even believe
I would stand in line for this
There's always room in life for this
Oh babe, oh babe
Then it fell apart, it fell apart
Oh babe, oh babe
Then it fell apart, it fell apart
What'd you say my name was?
Would you say it then?
What'd you say my name was?
Oh, say it then
Well, I know I can't
Well, I know I can't
Well, I know I can't find, though
Oh babe, oh babe
Then it fell apart, it fell apart
Oh babe, oh babe
Then it fell apart, it fell apart
Oh babe, oh babe
Then it fell apart, it fell apart
Oh babe, oh babe
Like it always does, always does
Always does, always does...
(It hurts...)
Thank you
Toll
