I'm still looking for a Hamburger logo #6 Martin Skillet to complete my collection. So, if you run across one. Keep Me in Mind. That combo skillet lid is an odd piece. and you know that. But there are collectors out there that just collect them. Still a good purchase with a rare manufacture name. Someone looking for one will pay a good price for it. This is just me but when you find something that you really want, and you are good with the price. Buy it! That's all that matters. The pitting would have thrown me off a little but a nice piece. A number #9 anything is Worthey of a good price. The slant Griswold. At 70.00 dollars is going to be a gamble on it. I hope if you bought, it would work out for you. Two give you some reference I bought a #8 slant Griswold skillet with some very small amount of cleaning for 70.00 dollars. Out in the wild. just being helpful and these are only my opinions. Good video my friend , question are most of the vintage skillets warped in the middle ( spinners ) back then no one collected skillets they just used them to feed their family . if only they could talk . THANK YOU FRANK FROM MONTANA......
How much do you trust ebay? I just saw an offer by a buyer for a #8 unmarked vintage cast iron flat 9.5" griddle (it is gatemarked and slightly pitted) for $19.99 and $15 shipping and best offer. Opinion? Thanks.
